Wardogs

Got this today and had a few games, not feeling it yet but hopefully once i unlock some better stuff, learn the game a bit and join some squads it'll click.
 
I've been working to get the ghillie suit and finally unlocked it today. Pretty fun to run around in although I should have read the part about the recon optics being able to spot it, I thought it was just the thermal and I got it the wrong way round. Good for just spotting enemies or using the bow, but if you fire from it and get spotted you obviously get killed very easily with no armour. Doesn't help with team mates firing from my position too.

I was looking forward to playing with HOTAS but i cant get it to feel anywhere near as good as id hoped.

I'm starting to get the hang of flying with HOTAS, will I be destroying dozens of enemies like in the old BF games, no but I am getting kills now and it is starting to click so gonna stick with it.

Once again - I found that it did take some patience and unlocks to get a true feel of how this game plays and it does get a lot better once you get embedded with the play style, so for the people who have just bought it, stick with it as it is a good game.
 
I managed to get Littlebird locked down, not so much the miniguns, the Blackhawk is a lot less nimble although I only just unlocked it so I guess it needs getting used to

Sit in mortar, open map up and search for spotted targets, middle mouse click that target and it will give you the correct range in meters, rotate your mortar and line it up with the target you clicked on then dial you mortar into the correct range, fire it and watch where it lands, adjust accordingly if not on target.

Tried it with a few mates last night, Im not a fan.

It feels like im playing a 10yr old Janky game. i think ill let it mature a bit before playing it again.
 
Doing supplies run last night for a hour ended up coming out with 90k , didn't get shot or have to shoot once, I don't mind doing it especially when no one else is as you get decent passive income whilst they are using the ammo / supplies in the base that gets built up.
 
I'm tempted to give this a go. Anyone playing on controller? if so does the game play fine with controller?

I cant play M&K as my fingers are too short :(
