It might be on the 'unofficial' Underclockers as it's now called, used to be the OCUK discord until they set their own up, it's where most of the OG people are.

I was having a rough time of it yesterday. Rage quit more than once... I spent money unlocking things and stupidly forgot to leave enough to deploy with a decent loadout. Mistakes were made. I then proceeded to get into multiple rounds where the team was getting spanked which led to me struggling recover enough money to be comfortable, I'd gather enough from spotting, pull a decent loadout and get whacked very quickly or just not even make it to the zone due to terrible pilots or such.
Thankfully today was much better, just had a really chill game where I spent pretty much the entire time spotting/sniping a red tower and thwarting their attempts to push out from the FOB they had built there. I even had my first session on the mortar and can see why its so OP, its so easy to range in and be accurate.

Not everyone will be or has to be. You gave it a try and its not for you and thats cool. It can be a little janky at times, there is definitely a long road to go, however, as far as EA launches go, it has released in a very good state and if they keep up development, and adding maps/weapons/features etc and dont let it stagnate it has the potential to be a genuine great title.
 
Yeah if you dont have money for a good load out just tag along behind a group and loot the corpses for gear.

I had multiple wins today because if the team wasn't really organising itself or doing anything I'd just go sit on the edge of the HZ then eventually people started following.

Always pick the green team or red, never the blue :P

Best way to play is slow and methodical., sneak around unless its safe.

It was fun watching an entire team run by me whilst I had my monocular scan them all, I was out in the open laying down. Must have thought I was a corpse.

I've had days where I've lost almost every game though, that's usually because 80% of the team are out in the middle of the map trying to take out a couple of snipers in a building. Meanwhile the HZ is just drifting by...

yeah, you're exactly right. im not entirely sure what I was expecting to be honest.

i was looking forward to something different to COD and BF, but it didnt quite grab me.

ill sit on it and go back at some point.
 
Quite enjoying this now. Make my money from spotting buy a decent load out as an assault die straight away make money spotting rinse and repeat. Not seen a tank in the wild yet?

Only just joined the discord the other day. I'd certainly be up for getting in some squads. If you dont mind an angry old jock that is, I cant promise anything but I can try keep the swearing down to a minimum:eek:
