Wardogs

Ive hit 55 hours now and the biggest issue is people thinking they are playing minecraft and just stay in a fob/tower farming xp placing stuff everyhwere with out any meaning just but to gain xp.
One look at the map and its barely anyone contesting the hotzone these days.
This is me 100%! Only just starting and have already worked out the best way for me to earn £ is to just build as many things as possible. I will build a drill so the hotzone will pull to us every now and again.

Any time I go out for a fight, I just get sniped in the head  As long as I'm having fun it is what it is.

You need to squad up and stick with them, we all get killed but you or your team earn cash/xp reviving to

THIS 100%

Honestly, soloing this is a rough experience. You can make money going solo but, its a grim experience. FOB building can work, however the current meta is hotzone riding, every game we've done that we have won, its what the game is designed around afterall. Largely static teams tend to lose. Squad up, stick with the pack, get involved, dont overextend and you will quickly see the money and XP roll in. Revives are very common.

I usually run in a squad of 6-10 and even when we’re hot zone riding, if another team has a fob with 3/4 drills and a couple of Blackhawks ferrying fuel, it’s a tough play style to beat if they’ve got a well defended fob.

Maybe limit the amount of drills per fob to 1? Meaning you can call the drill and rack up 10-15 points, but with a cooldown the hot zone will have enough time to move across the map and stop the match all being about everyone trying to get into one fob?

I’ve lap noticed the hot zone being weird and hanging around one spot for 10-15 minutes sometimes, would love to know the thinking behind how the hot zone moves and where!

Does running your own server eventually mean that you can set things as you want. For example a max level of armour or levels?
I'd love it if it was all a level playing field with the money just being for loadouts.

That's something I'm now looking forward to. For me, it's now getting to the point where it's a bit sweaty. The people running around with level 4 armors, armor-piercing rounds.

And then there is the constant artillery spam.

It's starting to have a bit of a battlefield feel about it and I don't like it compared to the first 30 odd hours.

Still good fun but it's just getting a little bit silly now.

Will be interesting to see how they balance it all out in the future

I found joining a squad then seeing where the team is pushing in the biggest group and following them helps when you've low level gear. You will soon be able to upgrade by looting off someone's dead body. After a few games doing that I soon had access to better loadouts.

Id like to adjust this statement, came across my first 2 100+ level players on the blue team last night. Both of them playing together with level 4 everything and the FAL. Both of them ended on around 50 kills each they were insanely hard to kill, I even resorted to an RPG at one point when they took a tower (one of them also had a havoc too).

Still managed to win though, 100 - 94 so it was a bit close :D

Level 3/4 Armour against my peashooter of an AK47, no chance at the moment for me. Looking forward to some balancing tweaks the devs are gonna make
Apparently the armour piercing rounds counter the higher level armour, although I haven't unlocked any yet to try out :(

I was trying to kill someone with the Galil at range who had a level 3 helmet on with the normal rounds but had no chance. If you press B on the kill screen it shows you a full damage log, and his helmet negated something like 50% of the damage (can't remember exact number but was high).

Yeah this is the problem with balancing imo. The AP rounds need to be a lower level to unlock so it evens out the playing field a bit.
