The reduced vision distance should hopefully nerf snipers a fair bit though.

Had a quick 45 minutes last night and just could not get into the flow at all, nothing but snipers on every hill and in every window, was impossible to even move around the map, was a really boring session!

Looks like I missed getting it cheap on Loaded, it's only £2 cheaper there now

Was thinking I might wait until the wipe, but will I lose out on anything by doing so?
Also, is it still remaining fairly cheater free? (as much as can be expected for an FPS that had such a strong launch audience) - I was kinda hoping they'd said more about their intentions towards Linux/Proton by now...

Having a blast playing this. When you get a nice close game between the 3 factions and everyone is working together it's peek.

You have to remember those game because you'll have some real rough ones, you can get your ass handed to you multiple times from every angle without even a sniff of a kill!

That hasn't detracted from the fun I've been having though.

They need to region lock this or at least introduce a ping limit. I've noticed there does not seem to be much proximity chat this passed week and noticing more and more Chinese names. I played a round this morning and counted 24 players with pings of 180 or above on a EU west server.

I think that's where the community servers will shine.
Playing in a regular well ran server will be the best way to play

I always have a look at the community server tab when opening the game, but rarely see one more than half full which is a shame

I think separating them might have actually been a negative?

Yes unfortunately they're either empty or there's 15 person que on community servers which makes it hard when there's 6 or so of us playing together. I am just hoping they reverse the decision on region lock / ping limit.

Be patient, the same thing happened last week, and then after the weekend the price dropped back into the mid £20's

It's £26 over on GamersOutlet but OOS currently.

Have tried a few and it's mostly not been great for the age old clan server reason, all the clan stacked on one side stomping everyone else.

Another evening getting stomped by people with Lvl 4 armour, AP or multiple mini gun humvees.

Shine is definitely wearing off for me this week, the wipe can't come soon enough.

Yep, it's increasingly noticeable each time I play. M4 + AP rounds + level 4 armour. They are not even killable with my level 3 armour and kitted out Galil. So frustrating.
