With such a limited amount of play time, I'd say pass. It's a fun game, but there is too much "power" locked behind gear/equipment unlocks that you'd miss out on. Higher tier armour & weaponry provides a significant advantage. You really neeed to try and keep up with the sweats during each season.Tempted to get this but
Am I right in thinking if I don't keep up, I'll get left behind?
An hour or so here and there throughout the week is likely the most I'd get on
Makes senseYes, but the wipes will likely be more frequent in the early seasons as they tweak and balance the game more often.
It depends, the game has issues with economy where even if you unlock the higher tier stuff, mainly infantry if you're running a decent loadout, you're not likely to make your money back before you get killed, it's expensive, even an average loadout was like 15k and it was hard to break even with multiple kills and revive so I ended up just playing free loadouts and harvesting dead bodies for their loadouts was way more profitable and a fun challenge going in with the worst gun in the game, no armour and only 3 magsAm I right in thinking if I don't keep up, I'll get left behind?
My normal loadout was around 25-30k by the end of season 1 and nearly every match ended up with a good profit. I think it will depend on your play style, just running into the meat grinder isn't how you play the game. I mean, sure you can, but you aren't going to make money that way.It depends, the game has issues with economy where even if you unlock the higher tier stuff, mainly infantry if you're running a decent loadout, you're not likely to make your money back before you get killed, it's expensive, even an average loadout was like 15k and it was hard to break even with multiple kills and revive so I ended up just playing free loadouts and harvesting dead bodies for their loadouts was way more profitable and a fun challenge going in with the worst gun in the game, no armour and only 3 mags
Even the gun birds are tough to make money, they're more about fun, out of all the vehicles I played artillery was the only credit printer but that still wasn't as good as just playing truck simulator or taxibird
Levelling up this season seems a fair bit quicker (at least at the moment). I'd say roughly twice as quick as last season. With such a limited amount of play time, I'd say pass. I mean I can get profit from a 25k loadout too if I just camp, if I play combat medic with a 20k loadout in hotzone, get multiple kills and revives in a single life I'm lucky to break even the rewards are just trash, the only upside is that has more impact for the team than campingMy normal loadout was around 25-30k by the end of season 1 and nearly every match ended up with a good profit. That's usually how I play, love the HZ fighting. I just make sure I get tons of smoke to cover.I mean I can get profit from a 25k loadout too if I just camp, if I play combat medic with a 20k loadout in hotzone, get multiple kills and revives in a single life I'm lucky to break even the rewards are just trash, the only upside is that has more impact for the team than camping
It does feel quicker ( haven't got a single role above lvl 20 yet though, so that could change ) but if @kinger8938 only has on hour or two per week to play he might not even manage to finish a single match, which is where a lot of the bonus levelling XP comes from.Levelling up this season seems a fair bit quicker (at least at the moment). Why? I've only played one game in S2 so far. Does it affect visibility too much, looks bad, etc? Or just doesn't add anything?I don't like the rain.
Reduces visibility quite a bit. But as a mostly recon player I quite like it ....Why? I've only played one game in S2 so far. Does it affect visibility too much, looks bad, etc? Or just doesn't add anything?

In most of the matches I've played the teams have made concerted efforts to contest the HZ. Guess it's just very variable.I hope im wrong but just came from a match and nobody playing the hotzone already![]()

Sniper rifles /DMRs are awful in S2. Damage has been nerfed hard across the whole spectrum. Recon is now essentially a spotter role only. For example, it takes the SKS 5 body shots to kill an unarmoured enemy. Two headshots if not wearing a helmet.Couldn't play yesterday, but watched on as it went a bit sideways. Today finally got on and had a first good life, made about 30k with basic recon spotting in a tower, after that total **** show and was getting ROFL-stomped by level 60-70+...lol.
I'll have to stick to the lower level servers or limited ones.![]()

So Ive been levelling up driver & support instead. Not far off getting the T72 tank.
Had some running battles last night that went on for what seemed like hours, cracking fun and not ruined by rocket helicopter scumbagsThis is the game battlefield should've now been, rather then it just morphing into a large scale COD.
Reminds me of when I was a kid playing BF 1942 on my brothers PC, so good.
Yup headshot+ mosinNot my experience at all, though I rely heavily on my Mosin. I'm actually getting to be a pretty decent sniper. Had a run in with another cheater, snapped straight to me and headshot. He got instantly banned with the new server message. Got my first 900+ meter shot tonight. Not a kill but was pleased I hit him. Unlocked the bow, but that's not my thing.
Genuinely loving it still, I find the key is to focus on one class at a time.
