Open Beta has started.
Surprisingly well optimized, even PhysX doesn't have a massive effect on frame rates. I'm maxing it out with PhysX enabled at 1920x1200 with a GTX 580 an i7 920 with 6GB RAM.
It's a bit like Left4Dead in that there's a squad of human players working together against the AI. I've played the first 4 missions and it's a bit easy to be honest, I didn't die once and there doesn't seem to be enough enemies to fight. At least that's what my first hour was like.

I've been i the closed beta for this for a couple of weeks now, must say its a fantastic game to play with friends not sure how playing Solo plays out.
One thing they do need to work on is their micro transaction prices and what items they will do that with currently its really only worth spending money on extra slots for warframes, weapons and reactors/catalysts since everything else you can make ingame fairly easily.
Its still heavily in beta so features will change around quite a bit recently the warframe/weapon mod system was totally changed around to a much nicer system which should be much better for the long term. There are also a fair few bugs around but nothing game breaking that i know of currently and the devs seem very on top of squashing them which is always good.
Either way its worth a try its a <1gb download and your essentially a space ninja..whats cooler than that??

Just to add a little bit to this there are currently 3 enemy AI types Grineer who are shown in the video they are just typical space marine type people with heavy armor.
Corpus who are a robotic race they love their shields and shooting you from a distance.
Finally the infested if your complaining about not enough enemies to fight you probably haven't run into these yet
Each of the races are fairly easy when you first meet them since you just go up against the basic units later on you start seeing allot more types of units for each race it certainly makes it more difficult.
