Wargamers?

GW prices are ridiculous and they just keep raising them, which is why their profits have dropped by 30% in 1 year.

Bit of 40K Kroot Mercs

Havent played in quite a while or bought anything new in ages, tis rather pricey

Its quite fun to play with the right people ie good friends not the gamer geeks that appear instore and in the clubs

Used to do Warhammer, 40K, Epic and various historical Napoleonic games (with an awful lot of figueres)

That was about 15 years ago though.

Anybody remember Viking Raiders by the way?

What about the stereotype about people on internet forums about pc hardware? I'm sure you'd argue against that :)
No, I'd agree with it. Almost everyone I've met who's been seriously into computers has been criminally uninteresting.

I am currently getting back into the hobby after a long time off. I used to play a lot of Blood Bowl, Dark Future and Space Hulk when I was younger. I am currently playing Blood Bowl still and have an Ogre team. I have also started to play 40k and have myself a 2000 point Iron Hands space marine army which all needs painting :(. I have to say that when i was younger the painting seemed to be a lot more enjoyable than it is now. I just want to get my army painted now so that I can play with them.

table top game is no way as fun as the rts game on the pc.

u lose at this thread (sorry always wanted to use that phrase :) )

anyway the tabletop game is a lot more strategic and involving than the computer games.. it goes into a lot more detail, and takes an entire day to play a game for a reason

sadly this is too much for most people... which is why the very simple dawn of war games are so popular :)

Every few weekends I get together with some mates with a ton of pizza and beer to continue our ongoing quest in heroquest.
