Warm isn't it? Want a hydro cooler at a great price? Over £20 off!

Just finished setting mine up, few hiccups but overall very pleased...

It turns up in a white OEM style box with no instructions, although it's very easy to figure out. But if you get stuck you can pretty much follow the Corsair H80 guide, found here: http://www.corsair.com/media/cms/manual/forWeb_8.5inx11in_H80.pdf The only thing that's different is you use the washers included before the CPU block screws for more tension.

Now here was my first problem and the only one related to this cooler itself. On the backplate the screw threads which sit in the motherboard mounting holes don't go flush so the CPU block posts don't screw tightly to secure the backplate on. Instead they wobble, I found this effected the contact between the CPU and the block. This was easily cured by using a couple of rubber washers I had to hand.

After installing and powering up the system for the first time there was a decent amount of noise, I found this to be just air bubbles and after tilting the PC case gently a few times the noise then went. Infact now it's so quiet I have to hold the tubes to make sure it's working. Anyone worried about noise, don't be, it's only as loud as your fans.

The last problem I had was down to my setup I can only assume, after restarting the PC a couple of times it would not boot. My motherboard has always been a bit temperamental with booting so I fiddled around with the BIOS settings, making sure my overclock was working properly and the temps were ok.

Strangely it would not power up with the cooler plugged in, with it unplugged it worked fine. After a lot of trial and error I found it was the Northbridge voltage to be the cause, after bumping it up a few notches it played properly. Begs the question, how much juice does it suck from that 3pin?

Don't let any of the above put you off though, I've seen a good drop in temps. (10c less idle and 20c less underload) and it's working flawlessly. Really can't go wrong for the price.

Gets a 5 star from me, even with those mentioned niggles.

I plugged the cooler into my psu, i believe that is the accepted convention considering it needs a constant 12V and the most reliable place to get that is the psu :)

Not sure what you mean there? Are you using a molex to 3pin?

yep mine too turned up in plain white box, no instructions.

Although what I have in mind the instructions would be useless ;)

Still a good price.

Right, mine arrived, just in time for the cold weather :D

Tomorrow I'll run some comparisons with my IFX-14. Hopefully it'll be a useful drop :D
