Warner R4 - My 2 year project finally OTR!

Awesome build - very impressed :-)

And is 3sec to 60 a little optimistic given a modern Gsxr1000 bike with more power and less weight cant ?

I should think 3 seconds 0-60 is totally realistic seeing as my Pinto engined Westfield clocked up 4.4s at York dragway last month (and that weighs 220kg more than the "Warner"). Bike 0-60 times a traditionally dissapointing because you can't open the throttle fully until a fairly high speed else you'll just go over the back!

Absolutely awesome! You designed and built your own car from scratch and its mighty fast - how cool is that!?

Unfortunately your website appears to have exceeded its bandwidth :(

:( Saw this last night.

If you email me some pics (see trust) I'll host some for you if you wish.

that looks absolutely stunning

Theres no doubt that ariel charge a premium for the atom. Its quite expensive for what it is.

Im pretty sure theres a very good market for a cut price alternative, available in kit form or turn key, built and designed in a shed by a englishman, like the best of british sportscars :D

I've no idea who you could speak to, but you could definately make money out of this, and it would be a shame not to share such a wonderfull design with the rest of the world.

Maybe get evo or somebody to test drive it ? and generate some publicity and get people to come to you ?

exactly what i was thinking - amazing little machine, really good looking too! Would be interesting to see how it handles but from the looks of it would be a hoot to drive round a track :)

What sets cloudy apart from the rest is he actually completed it, and it works!

I love the sound, just noticed the videos.

There are loads of atom like kits out there that are far cheaper than the Atom of which the MEV Rocket is probably the cheapest:-

Personally, I think the "Warner R4" looks way better though :-)

Oh, and I forgot to say in my earlier post - wheels are too big!

OP's car looks stunning now, would love to build something like this in later life when i've got some time on my hands for a proper project.

Car above looks pants!

there was an episode of one of jeremy clarksons TV series, think it might have been one of the motorwold series, where they looked at british cars, and the history of an englishman building a car in his shed etc..

They went round and spoke to loads of kit car builders etc.. and interviewed Ed China (from Wheeler Dealers) who is the bloke who built the Sofa Car thats been on TV a lot !

Its a wonderfull tradtition, and it would be a shame not to make something more from this wonderfull creation.

What you want to do is race a 'real' bike ;)

Great build btw, jealous! lol

Then go round a corner and leave the "real" bike behind :D

I think the fact its gone down so well on here is because unlike most kit cars it looks professional and quite good looking, you need to get some better photos though in full light unless the low light shots are to mask its true look :D

Fantastic.

Really should brush up on Solidworks and have a play, this is something I would love to do.

One thing to say about pic and vids: MOOOOOOAR :D

Didn't know you were a member on here too! As I said in my email, if you ever do get producing a kit please let me know:)

lol! im on a lesser bike to the more powerfull stuff now and I can keep up with really fast cars... its the rider you see ;) :D but really cars will always spank bikes around tight corners but fast sweeping corners I doubt there is much in it, and a bike will nearly always real them in out of the corner :p
Straight lining is boring as hell, I love chasing quick cars round twisties even if I dont keep up :p

Indeed, no doubt the latest big bikes would wipe the floor with me in a straight line!
As above though straight line is boring lol of course they will, but a good hoon on some twisties against a good rider on a sportsbike would be lots of fun!
