Not what you expect...tread very carefully online.

Emotions didn't get the better of me.

Thought some of it was brilliant but to me it didn't have the impact of Infinity War at all.

Going to be slightly controversial here I guess...solid 8/10.

Just got back in.
As above, not what I expected and to echo a post above (or a few above as people are posting as I type up) please dont visit the usual sites. Stay away.
I wondered what time it was once, only because my leg was playing up. I needed to walk. I stayed put though. It didn't feel like 3 hours or by the time on my phone 2h57mins of actual movie. Plus side, no trailers thank god.

A few tears appeared on a few occasions.
The SFX were the best I have seen.
It could have been 10-20 mins shorter. Not a major issue but it was padded out on at least 3 scenes that really didn't need to.
Thor.
Completely different from IW, which I think is a better movie BUT this wraps it all up.
22 movies building up to IW and EG, I don't think we will see such a story like this again
My personal score is 8.5/10. I think on a second viewing it might be a better film. IW and EG as a double bill I would give it 9/10. the whole MCU to date 10/10
Thor

Yeah it will. :)
Edit: Just to be clear, can we post spoilers in here as long as they are in tags? Like I have a question and my thoughts on a certain scene in the 3rd.

Taken from the OcUK Rules page

Movies
  1. Threads created with the intent to discuss plot spoilers MUST be clearly labelled during creation e.g. "warning: spoilers" in the thread title
  2. Spoiler tags are NOT REQUIRED in a dedicated spoiler thread where there is ALSO a dedicated non-spoiler thread
  3. In the absence of a dedicated non-spoiler thread, spoiler tags ARE REQUIRED for AT LEAST 14 DAYS after the UK cinema release
I can see this rule being HEAVILY enforced!!! :D It maybe worth a MOD changing the thread title to add "NO SPOILERS UNTIL THE 10th MAY" or similar

Le reminder! Imma sleep first and do my thoughts later!

Rather than cluttering this thread with spoiler tags, I think a new spoiler thread would be a better idea. I'm not starting it as I have nothing to say - I've not seen it yet. :p

It wasnt for me, I'm not emotionally attached to any of the characters and this just didn't do it for me. Great comedy moments throughout as per usual from marvel films, overall a decent film but I much preferred IW.

Ok, now I've slept for a bit.... a few plot hole questions

The massive one is

1 - if they needed GPS to navigate the quantum realm, how did Thanos and that ship get there without?

2 - besides the little ones like what caused the glitch for Nebula to share the memory banks over the air? Or how she manages to know how to use that machine to open the portal by flipping a few buttons.

Questions aside I thought the start was a bit slow, could trim a few mins off that. The middle section has real jeopardy which I’ve not felt in these movies in ages and the ending they nailed. It made sense that Stark would plan all that and capt would take that route. Overall a good film but I think Infinity War was better paced and easier to watch and rewatch. The Russo Bros has done a remarkable job bringing all the films back together. I will however watch Endgame again to see whether you can spot Capt going back in the background with a suitcase.

Ps - Stark should’ve said “I love you 3000” cuts off but then flips back on “and 1” then goes off. That would've been great.

Wasn't Nebula around when the Avengers where discussing and getting the time machine sorted? If so wouldn't she have all the info recorded in her memory and Thanos saw it when he downloaded it all.
