Just watched it and was a great ending to the series.

Couple of thoughts

I assume Cap just lived the time he was frozen in the water out with Peggy as a normal man when he went back.
Thor must be in gog3?
Who was the blonde young guy shown at the funeral? I assume from looking on IMDb it was the lad from iron man 3 that helped Tony with the suite?
Disappointed with Captain marvel. Thought she would be in it a lot more.

The young lad at the back on the right before you saw CM on the steps? I wondered that too. What was his name?

Also I don't like her new harcut!

Why was Thanos so strong this time around? He came through the Quantum Realm from ~2013 prior to getting any Infinity Stones and whilst he's known to be powerful that seemed a little OTT? Just a bit confused tbh!

It was disappointingly "meh" for me and only made better by some decent action here and there. Really poorly written and a shame to end with that, it could have been so much more.

It's the only MCU film I have come out of the cinema genuinely disappointed about but maybe some of that was the hype.

Not really a spoiler for End Game:

Thanos is one of the most powerful beings in the galaxy without the infinity stones.

Yeah that got me too, Having a baby girl made it hit even harder I think.

Yeah that felt forced a bit, and I'm sure the YT man children and Larson trolls will be all over it.

Can you blame them? that scene was offensive to the women i went with...

He wasn't in the comics, his power came from his armies and minions.. Even carol danvers has been massively powered up in this.

Not sure if I watched the same movie, but for us it was a bit boring at times and overall a big let down from what we expected considering how everyone is raving about it so much online. IW was a much better movie.

Just got back from cinema, honestly I feel a bit disappointed. Good film but infinity war was way better for me.

7/10 - really slow first 2 hours but I guess it had to be that way.

dont like time travel, still don’t like it after watching this. Too many ifs and buts and kind of makes everything pointless. Next baddy they can just time travel and redo everything

+1

Everything was as expected. A little tired and the whole premise was naturally a little unexciting. Entertaining but long and probably not that rewatchable.

7/10

Good movie over all but i think i enjoyed Infinity War a bit more. Probably due to some of the characters meeting up for the first time.

You're by no means alone, most the group I went with felt the same. IW was much better imo. I have young kids who I've promised to take to see this very soon but my youngest will be fast asleep by the time it actually takes off.

If your a marvel fanboy and you have posters up in your room, you've been following these films religiously, you collect the memorabilia etc etc some scenes in this film will prob give you a boner for weeks lol, but if you're not emotionally attached to the characters it's just boring in parts I'm afraid.

Was a bit slow in parts and even though i really enjoyed the film, its not one i would go out and buy when it comes out on DVD etc.

OK off the train and phone so can do a bit better write up.

Mulling over what other have said I loved the film but I also think I enjoyed IW more but this by no way means I didn't like this movie.

This will be really spoiler heavy so don't click if you have not seen it.

The Deaths..

I knew either Cap or Tony would die but the way the movie was playing out to me I was sure it was gonna be Cap especially after the Thanos fight.. not sure how I feel about Tony being killed off.. hes been the main man for a number of years.
Black Widow I didn't see coming.. new straight away when Black Widow/Hawkeye where sent to retrieve the soul stone one of them was a goner but thought it would be Hawkeye. Bit gutted for her to be honest.

Film in General:

First half was a bit slow, think that's why I prefer IW over this.
Time travel was done OK. Killing off Thanos in the first 20 mins threw me off.
Captain Marvel not used enough.. seemed more like a cameo than a film to hand over the torch.
Loved Hulk, Thor, Cap and Iron man.. definitely their send off film (Apart from Thor who I am guessing will be in GOG3 and looking at what Quil is doing at the end will be about finding Gamora) not sure what could happen with Hulk/Banner.
The end where everyone just turns up was just epic
Peppa in an iron man suit.. saw that coming
Cap using Thor's hammer was epic... Nice throwback to earlier Avengers film where there all trying to lift his hammer and he moves it ever so slightly and Thor looked worried.
Thanos for me seemed a bit watered down from IW.

One bit I didn't get is when Doctor strange says to Tony he couldn't tell him what happened otherwise it would not come true but then shows him 1 finger held up? any one get what he was trying to say?

Cap handing over the shield to falcon? I always thought it would go to Bucky..

Gonna have to go see this again

So my next thoughts is where does it go from here? if they do continue the avengers films (aside from the individual super hero films) who is the team gonna be comprised off and can they really make the same kind relationship we had with Thor, iron man and Cap? I am guessing Captain Marvel is not gonna be the front runner as she is too powerful.

Personally I like Doctor Strange and hope he gets used more.

9/10 Great fan service.

Was worried Larson was going to ruin this for me as I can't stand her as Captain Marvel, thankfully she is hardly in it.

If you look at it though, it's two separate timelines now. The one in this movie is in the future where they revived everyone after the snap. The one in the past has lost its Thanos (from 2014) and thus there will be no snap or Infinity War. Or in short, one where all heroes still live, and the future one, where everyone was revived and some are "gone". "Technically", they could place any story into any of those Timelines without issue or move heroes around if they have stories that fit with it.
