WASD / Arrow Keys

i use WASD and mouse in right hand for tournaments on fps,

arrow keys and mouse in left hand for just general shooting games,

and a mix between left and right hand for when on desktop,

btw im right handed but ambidextrous :)

Although WASD is meant to be better (more keys close around it to use), I've always used arrows, so find it hard to not use them.

WASD all the way.

Easier access to other hotkeys, plus if you use arrow keys and clicking in WoW you're gonna get utterly raped by anybody using mouse movement and keybindings.

WASD of course... arrow keys... HOW, there's not enough other keys there to use for everything else.

My standard arrow keys setup has the following:

Jump = shift
Crouch = ctrl
Sprint = Ins
Zoom = end
Reload = home
Peek left = Delete
Peek right = Page Down
Switch ROF = Insert
Use = Enter

Only problem I've ever encountered was not being able to strafe jump left in AQ2, as I can't push left and either jump/crouch at the same time :D

I'm having a hard time picturing you using that setup, at least for games where you need to use movement keys and sprint together. :)

You're right though, non-inverted mouse is for noobs. ;)

When I first started playing pc fps games all the time I liked TFGH for movement. Same shape as WASD, but gave me an extra thumb button (ALT GR) and an extra pinky button.

I use WASD all the time now though as I can't be bothered messing around with the key binds whenever I play a new game.

I've always used WASD despite being a lefty. It just makes sense to me. I just tilt the keyboard slightly so my hand isn't bent.

It's a bit weird playing CSS for a few hours then going into DoW using the arrow keys to move around the map, but it's all good fun :)
