Washing Jeans...

Meh, happens to most of my black jeans . You can only tell outside when it is very bright. Like anyone will ever notice.

It will literally have 0 effect on your life.

get a grip.

This.

Seriously, your jeans have faded a little bit, and aren't black anymore. What, you think girls aren't gonna talk to you anymore, and guys aren't gonna want to be your friend either.

Why don't you fly into Japan and complain to someone there about your 40 quid faded jeans!

Jeez!

Some smelly people here will say they only wash their jeans every 3 months.. that thread made me laugh.

When I buy jeans for the first time, I dont wash them for 6 months. I like the way they look when they develop their own fade. Plus, it cant be that bad considering most of the largest jeans manufacturers advise to do this for best results.

After this however, I tend to wash them every couple of months, or just whenever they look a bit dirty!

As has been said, do your own washing! but more worrying, 60c as a regular wash? economy fail! I do all my stuff at 30 or 40, I will do a 60 wash if clothes are actually soiled, but for normal washes where the clothes just need a freshen up?

Is it weird that I can't stand washing my jeans? Doesn't matter how much softener they always come out feeling horrible. Gf thinks I'm disgusting :o I just like to let them air outside and then in the tumble dryer...

Got a point. But at £80 a pop for jeans, if they are black, I'd expect them to stay black.

although...

lol 60 degrees lol

Price/brand name does not always equal quality when it comes to clothes, I have learned that the hard way in the past! but still, 60c with black jeans, will fade them, theres no two ways about it.

Thats why I dont wear black jeans any more, they always end up a horrible grey faded colour.
