Would it be possible to try an ACE version, always curious how different it makes ARMA but I'm its prohibitive to filling a server.......perhaps on the second server occasionally........I like to try little variations

Honestly, your best bet with ACE is to find a server / community that use it constantly / regularly and give it a whirl.
It really does change quite a lot of the aspects of the game and makes it a much easier and enjoyable experience!
Well tonight was interesting!
From Too Tall killing almost everyone on Opfor with his BMP-3, to raiding the Blufor base with the BMP-3 which he gave us. We then went on to defend our base, must have run over about 10 people with the Vodnik. Good fun and lot's of organisation.
That El_condito guy though, I can't say for sure he was hacking, but many others were saying he was. Server went into chaos when he turned up.
