Wasting ones money

taking nine months off whilst still living on my old budget was quite fun, just a pity i've forgotten how to do my job now i'm employed (by myself) again.

the impromptu all-inclusive week in Jamaica or extended stay in Vegas were possibly the most damaging to my bank account. it rained in Jamaica, and i have no memory of Vegas... waste of money? yep.

HOLIDAYS!!
Weekened breaks with mates, start off as a cheap break - then you end up spending a fortune. For example - first day in Amsterdam I spent £280!!! On what? Alcohol mainly, but how is it possible to spend that much??

I bought a Diesel jacket for £200, I've worn it twice, I got it almost 2 yrs ago.

Random cables, and stuff like that.

EDIT: A Mercedes CLK 230 for £4,000. When i saw it I though, hmm this is not in as good condition as I expected. My girlfriend said, no no for it's age it's fine...BUY IT. I kept thinking, then against everything my head was saying i bought the blasted thing. 2 months later I spend £1,000 on making it look more pretty. For £4,500 I could've got a much better example. Then again i've used the thing about 10 times since i bought it in August...i don't even need it.

Over the past 10 years I've perhaps wasted in the region of £100,000+. I'm a reformed character and a little more prudent these days, but I'll admit it took quite some time to work it out.

I think you owe it to yourself to find out what happened ala The Hangover.
Go back & retrace your steps

it wasn't quite so severe as that - we watched the hangover about 5 days after we left vegas... brought back some unwanted memories.

there was a period were we hadn't slept for 45 hours, but being sat at a blackjack table had made it seem as if i'd been awake for about 20 minutes. i woke up with a load of ATM receipts in my pocket - each for amounts that equalled an entire weeks paycheck :(

Nights out in general, have been going out a lot recently and I easily spend £400 a month just on it. Oh and pretty much every computer i've ever bought, I spent thousands (mostly student loan) on computers.

Just spent £400 on a HTC HD2, is it worth the cost? Time will tell. At least I bought it without contract so if I don't like it.. back on the bay.
