To be honest, given the absolute debacle that was the first TD2 Twitch giveaway, I was surprised to receive the Iron Horse drops almost instantly.

Just a shame they're not as good as the first drops. The helmet, in particular, looks crap in game.
 
Yeah, I'm not too fussed but still would have liked them for collectables so to speak because of the raid. As cosmetic? They're ugly as hell. They don't fit with my look.

Are you sure you did the registration with the same email you are using to log in to Uplay? Over the years from playing on Xbox, PS and PC, I’ve ended up with three different ones.
 
Played a bit but got bored quite quick have to say :o

But graphical settings were able to max out at 3440x1440 without any dips below 60fps and it did look someone decent too.

Yup same one. Registration worked too as when I clicked the link again to double check, it said that I had already registered!

Ah well, can't complain for not getting a 'free' thing! Just gutted, fancied playing WD2.
 
I've fired up the game today. Get the feeling it will annoy me already, but aside from that it has tech problems straight away.

I run an ultrawide 21:9 monitor at 3440x1440. When set to this res in game the aspect ratio is totally wrong. It's just stretching 2560x1440 out to fill the screen. There are no in game menu options for aspect ratio and nothing to fix it.

It uses Hor+ and should have no issues with 21:9 aspect ratios.

EDIT - Seems like it's to do with fullscreen setting. If I run it borderless fullscreen from the in game settings then it displays at the correct 21:9 ratio. If I run fullscreen then it looks like it's stretching 2560x1440 up to 3440x1440 and the aspect ratio is all wrong.
I need to run games fullscreen for gsync to work, and I run every other game in the world in fullscreen. No other uplay games have this issue either.

EDIT 2 - Even tried messing with the game's xml config file in my docs\ my games. It has various options in there that sound like they'd do something ("forceaspectratio", "forcefullscreentousemonitorratio" etc etc). Tried various combos and can not fix it. What a pile of ****.

Yes I played the 1st mission and then met my new 'crew'. What kind of nutter designs these characters? What a shame, the landscape looks fantastic.
