Seems to be par for the course in pc games these days, trailers come out and look much better then the game hits and people go "wtf". Crysis was the big one that stuck out for most people, the dx jungle fight videos looked much better than the retail release, then Farcry 3, now this. Have to wonder if some of the gameplay videos are actual gameplay or renders made to look like gameplay, brothers in arms hells highway done that with a couple of its trailers, made to look like gameplay but wasn't. :(

I thought personally FC3 looked amazing. Admittedly I didn't look at any trailers before release so don't know what they were showing on them.

That doesn't account for the lack of smoke/wind and the much worse looking textures/shaders.

on the e3 there is a distinct lack of brightness or high contrast which always make textures appear sharper. you can use sweetfx to get the exact same results. to be honest i prefer the indoor look in the final version cleaner and sharper.

the e3 trailer looks unimpressive to me after playing games like crysis 3, metro last light and sleeping dogs. it was impressive back then but not anymore.

it's a total con by the developers, reminds me of colon marines all over again, show off an amazing demo claiming to be the game in action, but it's anything but and the end product just isn't what was promised.

At least the dark souls 2 developers had the balls to come out and say "we tried but couldn't make it playable so we have gone for smoothness"

TriSli working from the off :D

4K Ultra - 4x MSAA - 5775mb vram used/cached

Also, WS, with the greatest of respect for your system, that shot doesn't even look like it should take 5GB+ of VRAM. It looks drawn in paint

Been messing with settings but this game refuses to go below 3GB without looking crap.

Ubicrap strikes again!
