Watch Dogs

Yup, money isn't a problem..

lol great reply i to myself would like to go all digital but money or no money you cant ignore the facts

60 quid for a game you cant resell or trade if its pants or has no replayability
or
45 quid for a physical disc that once you have completed can get maybe 20-25 back for making your game 20 quid purchase

im all for digital but only when they get the pricing right when i had my 360 with my physical games and it was time to trade in i got a hell of a lot more than my friend who virtually had the same games but they were digital and to be honest he now wished he had stayed physical.

i just cant phathom why its so much more as there is zero production and shipping cost and it takes away the pre owned market by a chunk which is what the games makers want .

I wasn't suggesting that... I'd just feel ripped off paying £60 for something that costs £40 on disc.

Likewise... I'd love to buy more digital, but the prices stop me. I'm lazy like this, going to a shop or waiting for post, or even putting the disc in, digital stops all this.. but the prices put a huge downer on it for me sadly..

£60 for a game. Absolute pee take. The fact that people pay that kind of money for a game before it's even released boggles the mind.

At least Wolfenstein had the right call with those super pre-order deals.

Not to be taken the wrong way and I will spend money where it needs to be spent but everything I've seen so far doesn't point to this game being worth that kind of cash.

Can't get my head around the digital thing either. Watchdogs will cost me about a tenner to play. or throw away £60 and have nothing to show for it. Tough choice that.

Still wondering whether or not to get this. I'll probably get it digital because, again, it is cheaper than buying a physical product if I buy it from the US store.

I got Wolfenstien on Friday, which although I enjoyed, have got the full 1000Gs in just three days. Started playing the second timeline but the differences are absolutely minimal and the 'lockpicking' is infuriating, so wont bother.

So I do need a new game, and this will clearly last longer. The thing that is really putting me off is the inability to stop people invading my game. I can see that getting just down right annoying.

madfruit: how is cheaper?

uk store 40 quid aroundish....you buy, play, sell after 1 month for 30 quid approx.
us store digital let say you do get it for less than 40 quid, buy it, play....erm do you sell it?

Looks like I called the Eurogamer score right :) Not a terrible game but nothing special at all. Looks like a one play through only type.

I don't see the sense in choosing digital unless it's substantially cheaper.

I only go digital if its a game I know that I'll want to keep for a long time such as Madden, Injustice, etc.

Games like this are better to buy physical and sell on once you are done IMO.

I ordered a copy off Amazon yesterday instead of waiting for digital prices, knew they'd be ridiculous. Got it £19 (had a gift card on my account).

What does the season pass at £16.99 get me? Also, if anyone on Xbox One has it yet, are there any patches to download right away?

Read some reviews this morning, looks to be pretty good. I watched the E3 footage they originally showed too and looks nothing like that, but should hopefully be a good game still.

I live in Australia. It's AU$100 digital or in store for me (might be able to get it for AU$90). But if I switch to US store it is US$60 which is AU$70. So I save AU$30 by buying digital. Trade in prices are rubbish here too, so I never lose out by much.
