Watch Dogs

I haven't managed to win an online hack yet, simply because I'm not 100% on what I'm actually doing. Out of interest, my opponent always looks like a local civilian. Does that mean if they hack my world, I appear a normal civilian to them? Or do they have changes of clothes? Confused

Yep you will look like a civilian to them. You also appear as a normal civilian yes.
 
What I found most surprising was how the game looked, after all the hysteria over the graphics I haven't once thought they looked bad at all.

"Ubisoft does give itself some leeway though. Noticeable, but not especially annoying on PS4, the Xbox One version is somewhat more intrusive in this regard - with tearing even appearing in certain cut-scenes, which remain completely solid on the Sony console."

I think it depends on how powerful your PC is tbh to see whether it's worth getting on PS4 or PC.

I have an ancient graphics card because I don't game on my PC any more. I prefer my console setup tbh. Therefore PS4 for me.
 
I got it on PS4 even though my PC can handle it perfectly fine at high/ultra.

I just prefer the PS4 version of most games as they look pretty much just as good and there is less messing around + I like trophies.
 
Seems a brilliant game to me, so much going on its quite overwhelming, you set of wanting to do something and get side tracked into hacking everyone you walk past :p, really fun game so far and not overly easy, ive been killed a couple of times, had a few online hacking games quite fun watching some guy run around besides you sat in a big truck then realising hes clocked you and you have to get away.

Driving as said is abit stiff and tricky but im sure ill get better at it just hope the UBI servers sort themselves out soon!

£29 well spent..
 
The games are obviously being made for the console's and pc comes secondary. Ive always been a pc gamer but now i have a family i just want an easy option :p.
 
Oh and anyone taking them drugs or what ever it is and played that Spider Tank thing? hectic, i was really impressed with the graphics and gameplay of using that Spider thing, really fun.
 
Yup playing the PS4 version and loving it.. although I'm only a couple of hours in it has already grabbed my attention more than GTA did. I read some moaning about the cars etc but I'm finding it fine and really good fun. I can see the rest of my day being occupied by this :)
 
Am quite enjoying it at the moment, think I’ve spent more time playing the digital trips (Spider tank for mindless destruction, and Alone for MG style sneaking) rather than the main game, and a couple of long poker sessions :D. Although it doesn’t have the full graphical power of Infamous, the open world is more engaging, and so much better for it. Not yet been able to get into another payers game to hack (I’ve had the online fixer icons up a few times, but unable to connect to there game), but have been hacked a few times and it does add another dimension to the game. Are they any benefits to becoming mayor of a land mark, as it’s not really explained apart from being the person to visit it most in a time period?

Down sides so far is the handling of the cars, its ok for general getting about, but slightly awkward when in a full on police chase, and the lack of an damage bar hinders a bit as well.
 
Glad I went for the ps4 version over the pc, that digital foundry article mentions AMD cards, even a 290x struggles to remove the stutter..

My days as a pc gamer are slowly coming to an end thanks to the ps4. I spent hours on this game last night, loving everything about it..

haven't seen any screen tear either yet df says its there for both ps4 and x1, x1 suffering the most but I see tearing easily but to my eyes the game as been rock solid performance...

Sunk a good amount of time into it yesterday (more than the main game), higher levels get a bit manic at times :p
