why 600t over the 650D ?

already got the 600t , its all air cooled at the mo.....so transfering it all over to water........dont think theres really that much difference interior wise?

and sorry for being a bit loopy on bf3 lol......i was haveing a stressfull evening with clan members telling me to kick a few guys for suspected cheating lol..........

the 650d was released a few weeks or month after the 600t and if i had of known , would have gone with the 650d as i like the 800d but was too big and too expensive at the time.......

well here we go......my first ever attempt at water cooling.......i enjoyed every minute of it minus searching for screws and bolts for the rads and fans........here come the pics......and stueng......its as yellow as my viper fans........gonna call this viper yellow........and i think its stunning........

+ 1 speechless other than "can we swaps pleas ? :D

thanks....not bad for a first time attempt......but my thumb is throbbing from the compression fittings lol......ive hid the ssd on the rear of the mother board panel, and got to find some where for the 1 terrabyte drive...dont like it stuck it in the 5 1/4 bay.........and putting the 2 gpus in was just a nightmare.......couldnt see the slots......

one thing that confuses me though... when I saw the pics I thought it was a 800D but I see the topic is 600T... how have you managed to fit the fans and the rad up top without obstructing the motherboard? does the 600T have more room up top? do you have a very thin radiator?

the rad is quite small compared to most, only being 30mm thick....its the magicool rad....and as you can see theres only millimeters to spare between the rad and the motherboard.......the 600t also has a compartment on the top of the case where you can install 2 x 120mm fans and they are hidden....so you cant see them unless you remove the top , which is just simply clicked into place......you definately couldnt use push pull configuration up top, but seen as its a thin rad you probably wouldnt gain much anyway.....

as for temps...these are just idle temps at the mo so will do some playing later and report underload....

gpu 1 27 degrees
gpu 2 29 degrees
cpu 23 degrees average acroos the 4 cores

is that a custom panel i spy? if so, can we know how you did it please? :)

hi there, yea its a custom panel.....dont have any pics from doing it though as it was done around 18 months ago or so.........so this will probably sound a bit vague.......

how it was done was:

placed masking tape over the front of the panel, all over the complete area.....i then drew a rectangle....cant remember the exact dimensions, then set up a compass to draw in the quater circles.

from here i drilled a hole to allow the jigsaw blade to cut the panel out.....

once cut , i then had a template for the perspex sheet...... placing the cut out on the perspex sheet i drew the same shape on the perspex.......I knew exactley what the dimensions were of the edging strip and took this off the perspex...to make the perspex window fit nice inside the edgeing strip....the perspex was cut with the jigsaw aswell , but beware, the quicker the blade goes on the jigsaw, the more you a likely to melt the perspex rather than cut it.......

once cut to size.....i placed the edgeing inside the case and fitted the window inside the edging strip......then put the insert in which stops it all falling out.....

this is the edging strip that was used :

its very sturdy....the rubber egdeing holds it quite well........its never fell out, but i would say it you pushed on it hard , it may come out.......there are no air gaps......and i wouldnt say its distorted at all.......the panel has a slight curve in it , but it curves quite a lot towards the ends on both sides, roughly inline with the top catches.....and not so much in the middle part , so i avoided that part of the panel when i measured it up.........

awesome yellow and very nice build

you think your fingers are sore after compression fitting.. you gonna love braiding

was really looking to get some pre braided cables :o in yellow and black......

but looks like im going to have to do it as it doesnt look like you can buy pre- made black and yellow braided cables.....

@ stueng...will have to take a look, think it will look better aswell if i do it myself, rather than going for a colour i dont like.......

@Ary101....never really totalled it all up......but inc monitor , mouse and keyboard...possibly close on £2.5k spent.....blummin hell it gave me a shock.....i know folks spend a hell of a lot more.........

after a couple of runs of unigine.....
