May I ask which is a better radiator
Phobya G-Changer V1.2 480mm Quad Radiator : G-Changer 480 V1.2
Or
Swiftech MCR Series 480mm Quad Radiator : MCR420QP???????????
The reason why I am asking is because these two are the only ones that come with Bleed Valve Screw and this way when I get air in the system my plan is to open this Bleed Valve Screw and then let the air escape so is this a good idea?

Get rid of the pre mix and dye bombs, just go with distilled water, a silver coil and red tubing...

So. Much. Simpler.

I also think a MCP355/350 and a XSPC res top would be a better bet than that awful bay res you have spec'd

Did you not read about how XSPC tops kill pumps.
If i were you i would read up on more watercooling or it could be a very expensive mistake.

You want to get a Silver kill coil, doesn't matter what make. The Anti-kink coil goes on the outside of the tube to stop kinking.

Make sure you spend a lot of time reading up. I've spent about 2 months casually looking at guides and deciding what parts I want and I'm still not happy.

oh I see then me be this not for me I thought this would be easy am I wrong?
The overclock 3d made it look easy he had a beginner tutorial that was on youtube that how to do so I thought looks simple to do
??? Me be I am wrong? Me be I should stick with air cooling but I do think water cooling would have been cool see a lot of people helping me is really nice just wondering what to do know should I get a water cooling kit or should I go with air cooler its only for my cpu after all such a big thing what to do?

Water cooling isn't difficult Syfer.

If you are only cooling the CPU a 480 is complete overkill.

Did you have a look at the EK kits?

http://www.ekwaterblocks.com/shop/kits-cases/kits/ek-kit-h3o-supreme-lt-240.html

Something like this would be great for someone starting out and wont break the bank (a quad RAD could cost you £90 on its own)

Mods please take down link if EK are considered a competitor.

wow thanks you so all I need to do is buy this kit I think I need to buy the tubing and other small things one problem is I want cpu would 1155 and I don’t see it in this kit?
Also I see they give blue water cooler is there any way that I can buy red from somewhere?
Also the case I have mountainmods Extended Ascension does not come with hard drives bay in the instruction on how to place the reservoir goes on the hard drive rack one problem it’s not got them so where would I place this?
Also says to mount the rad on the top of the case is their way to mount in on the inside of the case at the top of the case as its got 12 holes at the top of the case for 120 fans I could just install it on two of those on inside would that work?
Or I could get XSPC Rasa 750 RS360 WaterCooling Kit it was used in this
he said it was the best he used and it comes with every thing you need only thing I would buy would be the fans and coolant but one problem is I am still confused about which one to buy.
I know that some XSPC some pups have died but surly they have fixed the problem by now?
Also a not what do you think of red fans and uv green tubing will they go well together?
I am thinking of buying this Feser Aqua Cooling Fluid (bi-distilled) for Water Cooling Systems 1 Litre : Ultra Pure Water
When people say distilled water do you mean that the only thing I will need it seems wired as I would have never thought of that so do I just buy this from tesco and the dump it in the tank as its just water I don’t need to add colour do I??
Sorry if it’s a dumb question

Never heard of this before, had my DDC18w on an XSPC res top for months now.....all well so far. changing to an XSPC bay res soon, the one the DDC screws under.

Wish me luck lol.

your last spec your using a D5 pump but them say 3/8" ID tubing. good luck getting that to fit :)

i struggled to get 7/16" ID tubing over the barbs on the D5 even after soaking in boiled water for 5 mins.

ditch the tube cutters and just use a sharp pair of scissors or stanley knife. save a few £££
and the bridging pin, as said its a waste when you can just jump the pins using a bit of wire or paperclip. remember youll want to be able to switch off the pump quickly as it doesnt take long to empty a reservoir when that pumps on - d5 runs around 8.5 ltrs a minute

compression fittings i thought were pretty dear compared to the barbs and O clips, i got them from work for free so it was a case of £5 for a compression fitting or around £7 for all 6 barbs, some people even use cable ties - in fact my radiators done using cable ties as ran out of clips and decided that id rather the pump and waterblock inside the case would be tighter

i did a lot of reading up but decided to start on this mobo / cpu so if it went **** up then i wasnt wreaking a good board.

480 is overkill imo for the rad. i use a 360 one and my Tdelta is around 30 on load and 1-3 on idle

Also does all the fitting work with the tubing?

I've been using a DDC18w and res top (not bay) since I don't know when, not a single problem/burn/leak/any other problem from any thread you care to link  indeed

Hi I have a question do I mix the AT Protect UV Red 1000ml with distilled water??????
Also how do I clean the reservoir and pump and the loop and the radiator???????????????
When cleaning these parts what should I do I plan on removing all parts then cleaning them but what should I clean with I was thinking of cold tap water.
As radiator has a Bleed Valve Screw as well and I was wondering can I use the Bleed Valve Screw to let air out of the system when I get air bubbles?

I wouldn't use that at all as it has a PH value of 2.0 - 3.0, your better of using normal distilled water or de-ionized water.

to clean the parts out use boiled water
soak
empty out
half fill again
shake
emtpy out
flush through with tap water to make sure its clear
then flush with distilled water

Here
XSPC Dual Bay Reservoir with DDC Ultra 18W Pump isn't such a great idea, xspc tops seem to have killed quite a few ddc 3.25.

There was another thread before that showed a large amount of dead ddc's had a xspc top on.
The forum with the large discussion is XS and they have gone over this quite a few times.

Just a quick question, the XSPC tops, the problem that people are having do they relate also to the Acetal pump tops or just to the Res tops?

Hi is Thermochill EC6 - Red any good? I know some of you said normal distilled water or de-ionized water but you can get uv coolant that would be cool.
