Water cooling help

Hi is Thermochill EC6 - Red any good? I know some of you said normal distilled water or de-ionized water but you can get uv coolant that would be cool.

There is a reason people are recommending that you don't use colour coolant, its totally up to you if you want stained (expensive) components....just use UV reactive tubing!

Dude, learn to use some punctuation in your posts please!

You will find that you will get a lot more help in answering your questions quicker if people can read your posts better.
I note that you have asked about distilled water and dyes about 3 times now!

Yes, all you need is de-ionised water. Nothing else. No additives.
This can be picked up from Tescos, petrol garages or Halfords. Its the sort of water that is recommended for topping up car batterys and using in irons to prevent scaling.

You are being advised NOT to use dye as it will stain all your components and you will struggle to remove the staining. When I first setup a W/C rig years ago I put blue dye in it. It stained all the components blue and all the tubing. A year later I ended up replacing all the tubing and stripping down my DangerDen block and res to clean them up.

At the end of the day, its up to you if you want to use the dye but it WILL stain your kit!
