The units at CES and the unit Tony has were sent here for config test and tuning.. All were tuned to best load/temps and shipped...
R507 is the gas no blend. Unloaded temps are about -48 t0 -51 at fuggers shop and an ambient of 68F (Temp setting in the office

I take it 'Unloaded' is not the same as idle?

Not quite though it has many similarities to the chilly1 head.

Nah unloaded is basically running the unit with no heatload at all so just powering it up and watching the evap freeze up

Idle is as normal idle in windows while connected to the cpu

hmm am really interested in this now, has anyone used or using the vapo full system cases ie. XE2, se, pe editions? thinking of making the leap from air to vapo! water just doesn't seem beneficial at the minute, mite even pick up a cheapish watercooling kit and have it on my gfx card and northbridge, and then have my cpu vapo'd

I've not used em but they're about on par with the mach 1, problem is the cases are ugly i think and dont have too much room inside.

I saw the UB Dangerous post in the price check with his vapo so his may come available soon

Watercooling is good for silence and to prove you are a man.

Its also sooooooo much more fun than air and you get a great sense of achievement from it.

I wouldn't go back to air though, even good aircooling is toooooo noisy, especially gfx cooling.

I thought so too and was very nerveous when upgrading to a 7800GT, but I have installed a Zalman VF700-Cu and it is very quiet, the PSU and 120mm fan@7V are both louder.
