Watercooled 650D - ENVY

The components:

CPU: Intel i7 4770k
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z87
RAM: 2 x 8GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 1866mhz
GPU: Palit Nvidia 770GTX (X2 soon)
PSU: Corsair AX850
Boot drive: Crucial M4 512gb
Storage drive: Western Digital 1tb blue
Case: Corsair 650D
Fan hub: NZXT grid
Cooling: Corsair AF/SP 120 fans custom painted!


Watercooling equipment:

CPU block: EK Supremacy clean
GPU block: EK 770 waterblock
GPU backplate: EK 770/ 780 / titan backplate
Top radiator: XSPC 240mm cross flow
Front radiator: Alphacool NexXxos Monsta 240mm
Resevoir: XSPC dual bay resevoir
Pump: XSPC D5 and pump top combo
Fittings: XSPC g1/4 black chrome fittings
Tubing: Normal green tubing
Coolant: Green coolant of some sort.

Styling:
I have been braiding the cables of the power supply a lovely green colour. I have now moved onto the case cables. these will all be braided green. - ALL BRAIDED

I will be painting the rings of the SP/AF 120 fans green to match with the build. - ALL PAINTED

I will be cutting a hole in the front of the case to accommodate the 240mm radiator which I will be inputting into the build.

Here are some images of the parts within my case. I am building this up to make sure that the all the components work and that I can install all of the latest drivers etc.

I also did this so that I am able to see the amount of space I have for the radiators with the components in the case. Plus the fact that I cant play any of my games at the moment and want something to use for now.

I put the RAM in and it looks sweet! Get the SSD tomorrow and I will get the machine sorted.

I also found the image for the AX 850 power supply. It is in green and it looks good!

I am also going to make myself a fan controller out of switches. there is going to be six swtiches, five of them are going to be for the fans and the sixth will be for the LED's. I want the fans to run normally and when i flick the switch for them to run at their maximum speed. What is the best way for me to do this?
 
The build looks great, and I bet you can't wait to start fitting all your water cooling bits and pieces. I'll be checking back for regular updates ;)
 
I cant wait to start making the cuts to accommodate the front 240mm Rad! It will all start to take shape from there!

The SSD is running in the system and is sat in the perfect spot. I bought an NZXT grid and that will be placed just under the SSD in the bit by the drive cages, I also have braided up the second lot of Graphics card cables!

Unfortunately I had to send my GTX 770 back in the post as one of the DVI ports on the back stopped working and it was within the Amazon 90 refund time. I will be buying it again once I'm back from the holiday and then later next month a second one!!

One of my mates suggest the name ENVY... You know green and all that...
 
I have got some missile switches for the front panel to be used as switches for the LED's. Going to have four lots of green or white LED's.

There will be some more pictures this Monday. Ordered myself an aplhacool monsta rad for the front! Going to add the fans on to it and then measure everything and cut the front of the 650D!

I'm also slightly stuck colour wise now. Do I got all black parts with black fittings and green tubing or black parts, chrome fittings and green tubing? I have the dominator platinums and they are a silvery finish. Or I can go completely different and go for plexi parts, chrome fittings and green tubing...

Okay, not the greatest photos but here is the monsta rad with the fans attached. I have ordered some black screws to use instead of the copper ones. I will also order some black stop caps and the empty valve to go on the bottom of the monsta!

I have also ordered the CPU block, GPU blocks and the Crossflow rad for the top! Decided to go all EK with the blocks, I got the Supremacy clean CPU block and the EK 770 blocks for the graphics cards!

Everything has now been ordered except for the graphics card.

I have got XSPC black chrome fittings coming, I have also gone for a complete EK build bar the radiators by choosing a D5 pump and EK top, EK GPU blocks with EK Bridge, EK CPU Supremacy and the EK spin dual bay res!

I have also bought Green tubing and will be filling the build with clear coolant.
 
:eek: MY GOD! That Radiator's a Monster! I'm looking forward to seeing this come together. It looks so weird with the standard Intel Cooler fitted, 98% of the builds on here have aftermarket coolers I'd almost forgotten what the OEM ones look like. I bet you can't wait to get everything plumbed in and get the EK blocks on there. Great work, oh and the cable braiding looks spot on you should be well chuffed with that :)
 
It is massive, I am going to have to cut into the bottom 5.25 drive bay because it is so big! A small cut also has to go into the bottom case for the empty port.

The standard cooler is doing a fairly decent job at the moment, surprisingly! I cannot wait to change it out though, the things whines likes somethings dying! The block is now at home, cant wait to get out of work and take a look at it!

Cheers, it is a lot easier than you might expect to braid the cables! I definitely saved a lot of money braiding them myself!

Only thing that I need now is the graphics card and the black chrome stop caps.
 
What braiding is that you have used? I can't tell from the pictures looks quite good quality though, stiffline mdpc-x or something similar by the looks of it?
