Watercooled Parvum S2.0 (Extended) ROG Build

Just a quick update on the build. Finally got the correct 120mm radiators for the front, and have them installed but am unable to complete the loop the way I want without having to bend the tubing to connect the top rad with the top port of the front rad, so i'm just waiting for a 90 degree 'L' fitting to allow me to connect it properly.

I'll be taking more pictures once it arrives :)

Very nice build ! Is it possible to do one of these cases water cooled with the rigid pipes with no bends ? I like the parvum way of water cooling like in the Magnus project , with no bends on show :)

Got a few more updates for you all.

Managed to get my 120mm rads mounted in the front:

Along with some fittings... :)

Note the restricted space at the top (45 degree monsoon fitting is only a few mm off the fan blades!)

Received my 90 degree fitting in the post yesterday. Was only available in Black Nickel though unfortunately so may need to address that at a later date!

And installed (again very snug!):

Still haven't filled the loop yet. Will be looking to do that over the weekend, but in the meantime, managed to get a couple of white 4" cathodes braided:

After:

And also got my SSD's mounted in the back:

And a couple of cheeky shots with the ROG logo...

Will try and post again over the weekend with some more photos... hopefully of a nice pastel red filled loop :)

Jim :)

looks like its coming together now, the logo looks great, looks very tight between the rads, ive got to do mine yet once i get the bits, but cant decide on the rads yet, but im sure it will be all fun and games, what made you go for 2x 120mm at the front.

Managed to have another few hours on the build last night, and got the loop finished and filled and the PC booting up. Having a few teething problems with the SSD Raid Array but once i've got that sorted out, I should be able to run some benchmarks and see what sort of temperatures i'm getting at full load.

Had a bit of a hiccup with the initial loop, as I had a small leak on the mosfet block where i had used the EK 2mm spacer. As it was slightly over the top of one of the allen bolts in the block, it wasn't forming a tight seal, so I had to remove the spacer. Although my fittings between the mosfet and cpu block dont align perfectly anymore, at least my loop is now free of leaks!

I've also added a couple more white cathodes in to light up the inside of the case. There are 2 x 4" cathodes at the front behind the ROG logo, a 4" on the rear panel, and a 12" tucked up behind the 360 rad in the roof.

Anyway, here are the pics you've been waiting for... :)

Loop completed and filled, and everything in its final position. The sponge beneath the pump was temporary. I've since fitted some stronger foam beneath the pump and beneath the GPU terminal block to add some extra support to the graphics cards:

And the side window fitted:

And a few more close-ups for you:

looking pretty good :) i was looking at EK fittings yesterday to get my loop abit cheaper, but if you had a leak with a fitting its put me off them now.

Just realised you had also asked why I went for the 2x120mm rads at the front. I originally had a 240mm radiator there, however it wouldn't work for my tubing route to have both ports at one end (top or bottom). I'd originally wanted to install the x-flow 240 in there but it doesn't fit. So going for 2x120mm radiators allowed me to flip them sideways and run my fittings/tubing down the same side and to give me only a single port near the top of the case and single port at the bottom :)

I think this looks amazing, makes me want to WC my S2. How do you find the Aerocool fans? I've been thinking about getting some for my case, but the price is putting me off.

I know they are quiet and recommended as a replacement for the H60/90, but what's your first hand experience?
