Watercooled Prodigy Build (First Log)

And just like that things grind to a halt. My bloody pump wont work. I think there is a lesson here, always test parts before installing everything.

To be honest there is some sacrafices, i am not sure the front usb 3.0 will be working, the front audio won't reach. Though it really is amazingly easy to work in that case and although i have to sort out a new pump and don't have the "polish" of some more experienced builders i really am quite happy with how it is going. Really do wish i had remembered to put the backplate on the gpu though.

Do you think I have any flow issues in here? lol.

Right now I need an angled fitting, just 1 extra fitting, I would take any angle at all. Overclockers is a two and a half hour round trip away, almost worth it at the moment. 1 piece from being finished.

That kink

Dont worry the kink is gone. It was just to illustrate my problem really.

As it looks like it is going to be Tuesday/Wednesday before I can get the pump issue sorted it gives me a few days to get together some bits that I could use. I have ordered a few more angled fittings, so that will help on that front. I have also ordered some white acrylic and white carbon fiber wrap. Hopefully I can find a way to blank off the two sides of the psu, and perhaps even make a small extension to cover the mobo power cables. Not so sure about that last bit mind.

Anything else anyone can think of? I have a few quid in my paypal i can use on the bay if needed. So open to suggestions.

140 fan for the back you say?

Small update on a couple of bits done tonight. Not got the new pump yet so not able to get it finished.

Tidied up the cables a bit better. Cable ties TFW.

Put the back plate on the 580, nice new white fan on the back, black fittings in the front and making the change to white tubing all around the case.

Now I look at it I am convinced I could take the psu 24 pin all the way around inside the psu cage and have an all white 24 pin extension in there. I think that would look 100x better. But then I am not even bothering with a window

Nunzio, do you mean the optical drive bay or the bottom hdd drive bays? I dont think you can do much to keep the optical bay. (BITFENIX, please do a front panel without a drive bay slot at all, thanks)

As for keeping the internal hdd bays, I think that could be done, maybe but I can't see it being very easy myself.
