** WATERCOOLING WORKSHOP - ANY INTEREST? **

I have some deal propositions lined up that i will be presenting to management.

currently speaking with my key vendors for support on this.

Realistically, I want to offer exclusive deals and discounts to attendees. whilst it would be something to offer to every customer in the future, the initial few workshops are where I really want to treat the attendees as special.

There are people talking about coming from London to hear me rabble on about water cooling for a few hours. These are the people that deserve exclusive discounts etc.

not to say that there wont be discounts available for forum members also, but the attendees in my eyes should get special treatment in the form of goodie bags and a few bits and pieces to show our appreciation for being a part of this. That way we will build demand for spaces at each event and each workshop will fill up the spaces quickly each time I announce a date on the forums.

Excellent idea, especially a live stream for those of us you can't get there, for one reason or another.
I would also look at asking the Watercooling companies you deal with, to have a Rep involved from time to time, to give some advice and tips. You could also run a competition prior to his attendance and have him announce the winner(s), live on stream. Would be good PR for the companies involved and yourselves.

Water cooling companies are generally quite small and don't have the resources to rep their products in loads of forums.

We do all of the promo for a lot of our key brands and some are here, we will be doing something special for this.

Workshops do sound like a pretty good idea actually, demonstrate lots of products and then sell them there and then. Sounds very good

Maybe we can Car share, im 140 miles away j8 M1, drive to me and ill drive the rest of the way up and bring you back or pick up on the way, and no i wont turn my meter on lol
Im also interested in overclocking lessons and seeing what parts can be brought, theres nothing like seeing what can be done and wanting to do it yourself
Get the reps in as well to show off the latest goodies :)

I think this is a good idea in principle - even though I have been watercooling now for about the last 3-4 years, there is always something to learn. I am certainly no expert. It would be a longish trip for me, but I am up for it.

Also if later on 8 pack does something similar on overclocking - would deffo be up for that too.

Just a thought - perhaps the sessions could be videoed, and put on dvd so that you can take it away with you - as you certainly won't remember everything, and then when you get back home you have something to refer to if you get stuck on something. This would definitely be good if 8 Pack did something on overclocking - as there is so much to remember.

Just my few thoughts and ideas.

I would definitely be up for something like this.....................if I were closer to your HQ

^ :)

Stulid's idea would be good though. When you get the hang of it, you could stream it. We could also possibly ask questions during the stream too?

Sounds like a great idea, would love to attend something like this as I would like to watercool but no idea on the specifics.

I'm very interested as I feel watercooling is the one area I don't know enough about and would like to develop.

Distance is a pain though, but I expect I could overcome it.

You have to remember that Rich will be doing this on his own, not with a network of people behind the camera :D

I think recording/streaming the session is what we can hope for, esp for the first class or two :)
