He sent agressive messages to quite a few Liverpool fan writers on Twitter too, even people who never provoked him first.
The guys a complete idiot.

the fact the bbc are even treating this like a news story is laughable

could be but I've followed Rooney on twitter since day one 25 days ago and he hasn't made that many tweets (200 odd) just looked back and he's had a couple of altercations with piers morgan called some named nathscfc1 an armchair fan and said he didn't need him following him and that's about it until last night.

Wayne Rooney being angry and negative again.
He's a bit 'special' imo, I've said it before but I've got a relative with mild autism and some of the stuff Rooney does reminds me of him to a tee (swearing outbursts, total lack of self control etc), just doesn't know how to behave appropriately and never learns.

Thats the (stereotypical) modern day footballer. Cocooned off from real life and treat like spoilt kids, allowed to do what they want when they want, they think this attitude is acceptable in outside society when it isn't.
You can say a lot for American sports bit their scholarship system and forcing them to get an education, whilst certianly not perfect, instills a large portion a sense of respect, right and wrong and a little bit of know how of the world outside the football bubble.
