Wayne Rooney - Keyboard Warrior

Surely he could have come up with something better than "I'll put u asleep within 10 seconds", it's something you say in junior school.

At least show a bit of class and ignore it or ban them or whatever, instead of this I'm ******* rock solid attitude.

Why clubs allow their players on social networking sites bemuses me.

Because the only restriction they could legally make would be to not discuss work matters on a public forum.

If Rio or Wayne wanted to talk about anything else, there is nothing the Club can do about it.

Wiat, so now the internet is out to get United too? Geez, we'd better add that to the list.

Things that Tom84 can clearly see hate United and want them to fail:
  • Other teams.
  • The FA
  • Referees
  • The internet.
  • atpbx

Anything else?

Hey hey hey, speak for yourself. I'm a witty, suave and urbane gentleman on the internet.

Someone mentioned me outside of a direct quote!

My job here is done, I can officailly retire from the internet.

Its been great ladies and Gentleman, and I've had some really fun times, but I've achieved all I can here and I am now free to seek out new challenges.

What are you not getting?

It could have come off his arse and gone in off the post, it beat Man City and that was all that mattered :)

That's the point I was trying to make, no matter what Rotty may think with a pint in his hand in the local down Mersey way, at the end of the day Rooney still has certain basic rights that legally clubs can't infringe upon.

If Rooney was gagged from joining Facebook or Twitter without his employer's permission or moderation, I would be very worried as a human being, not just a football fan.

Great quote from Fergie today about Twitter:

"I don't know why anybody can be bothered with that stuff," he said.

"How do you find the time to do that? There are a million things you can do in your life without that.

"Get yourself down to the library and read a book. Seriously. It is a waste of time."

I look forward to seeing Rio and Rooney down the local library soon.

Has Rotty said he should be banned from twitter?

As for players being banned from twitter, I'm pretty sure 1 premier league manager came out and said he's banned his players from it but I can't remember who :o

Dalglish could never ban the Liverpool players from twitter though. He's on there himself
