70% fit, theres no way hes gona be 70% fit with just a few days training before a game.

Id love to see him at the WC to, but theres no way hes gona be able to do bugger all, so just forget it.

I'm almost hoping that this brings the news he aint fit as all this will he, wont he when will he stuff is just turning the whole buildup into a farce.

Least if he aint gonna go we can stick Defoe in and the team can get its mind on the job in hand in Germany. If Rooney goes then we'll be having the same guessing media frenzy game all over again during the tournament.

As much as I want to see Rooney play as an England fan, it really is taking away from the need to concentrate on trying to win the WC. We need to think of our preparations & if he's fit - then that's a real bonus.
