I think it was originally something to do with the fact that women wanted seperate toilets form guys because of pee all over the floors and walls, farting badly, make grunting noises etc etc and didn't want guys to hear.

I think he's implying there should be unisex toilets by giving the crazy example that we should have all sorts of different toilets, as it follows on from the logic of men and women not going to the loo in the same place.

Having said about unisex toilets being cool 'cos you can listen to the girls gossiping, it actually works both ways - it doesn't do anything for your chances with a girl when her and her mates can hear you throwing up after consuming too much Polish Pure Spirit in the Revolution 2 doors down I got some vaguely disgusted looks as I emerged from the cubicle
