WD Black SN850X not showing up in Disk management but I can see it in Bios and also WD Software ! Whats going on ?

I've had immense difficulty installing the SN850X so far.
The WD DashBoard is near useless. It can't even do a basic format due to "Driver limitations" and the USB media creation failed. Updating the firmware might have been a mistake.
I tried using nvme-cli format. There was an error changing block size to 4096. Is it supposed to delete everything even with secure-erase set to off ("ses=0") ?

Such a shame, I've installed a lot of them, some lazily and they have been fine.
I only use the tools from the manufacturer when I feel I should patch firmware. (old nvme drive / smart bug)
