WD Caviar not showing up correctly

Hello,

Firstly a few of my specs..

Mobo: Gigabyte P35C-DS3R
Main HDD: Samsung 160GB

Anyway on with the problem..

I purchased a 500GB Western Digital Caviar HDD for storage, to add to my PC.. the problem is that for some reason it's not showing up in My Computer, It shows on disk management and so does my Samsung it shows my main HDD as Disk0 and my new WD as Disk1, but the WD is all black (Unallocated).. It also seems to be spinning by the sound/feel of things.

Anyone have any idea's what it could be?

Nevermind, i solved it..

I had to go into disk managment, right click on the HDD and create a partition, now it's working spot on.
