We have found Atlantis!

It does make me mad. Why can't archaeologists just accept they have got datelines wrong and make amendments. What is the point in fighting for the wrong corner. it makes no sense. Civilisations go back many thousands of years before the accepted date and we have more than enough evidence.

Here's a few, cut and paste the coordinates:

50.010083,-110.113006 Native american weraing Ipod possibly........

44.244273,7.76900 giant pink bunny falls from space?

52.069207,4.3139865 anti mavity cars in Holland? (zoom right in on this one)

-18.529225,-70.25002 coca cola now trying to attract passing aliens for an ice cold coke? ( zoom in)

48.825183,2.1985795 Fighter Pilot stops of for some fags?

Use the wiki option under the more menu, most of them have an explination, I doubt Google is messing with those images. Although the Coke one is weird, I imagine the car on the side of the building is a problem with their imaging system.

The fighter jet one is probably some kind of local attraction or something.

Just like all scientists accepted the world was round and we orbit the sun? People fight for their beliefs for a long time before admitting defeat, even some of the most intelligent people on the planet.

I don't think it was science which believed in the earth being flat and the centre of the universe.
That was Christianity (I only know about Christianity, not about any other religions and this point) the bible said the world was flat and centre of the universe (along with some other great stuff too, like the clouds being a solid impassible object holding back water??!?!?), the bible being gods word apparently, meant it was true, the church then argued against astrology for many years, until giving in to far superior evidence! :)

But that was a long time ago, it would be nice if we learnt from the past and accept stuff as we find it.

huh where's it say that.

There were plenty of scientists who poo poo the idea that the earth was round. Maybe due to christian values.

It's like Darwin. He didn't publish his evolution theory for 30 years because of his devout christian wife. If he had dies first, we might never have got to see his theories.

There's a really good one.
A lot about Egypt is wrote about in The Bible but names & times don't match up.
One bloke decided to shift the Egyptian timeline and when he shifted 300 years he found that major events in Egypt matched up with the same events in The Bible.
Stevie Wonder can see that this is a wonderful find and must be true but because Egyptologists won't alter from what was said in 1800 (?) none of them will accept it.

I love stuff like this just for the shear Hilarity of the moment, I don't care who what where it is I only care that it made me laugh out loud, So Cheers :p
