**WEATHER THREAD**

I'm in North West London.

Major snowfall here. Trains and buses were mostly out of commission.

My first day at work got cancelled, so I have the rest of the day off.
 
It amazed me this morning, that people still think its a good idea to be talking on their phones whilst driving in appalling conditions...
 
Snow is picking up heavier and heavier here :D

This is from about 10 minutes ago, much heavier now! Visibility is about 1/3-1/4 of this shot!

Not happy about the roads not being gritted last night though.

I thought it was meant to get a bit warmer today (4c ?)

Snow seems to be melting slowly here, but still pretty cold - my garden looked the same this morning as yesterday !

Those were the current conditions, it should get to 3/4C max today, here it has got to 1c and sunny.
 
Well we missed the worst of it up until now, but in the past 3 hours we've had a good 3-4 inches :D
 
NW London here.
Its snowing at a good pace. Not hard though.

Edit: OK. Its gathering pace now. I'm supposed to be at work for 10am and I'm not sure if this is going to be possible, especially considering the return trip - not wanting to get stranded in central London.
