**WEATHER THREAD**

Well we got properly covered down here. Pretty much every road I could have taken to work (M5, A38, A380, A381 for Devon road fans) is closed, so...snow day!!

Woke up yet again to see nothing but white, got a phone call from my supervisor at uni telling me not to come in and the train services have just been resumed from Bristol to Cardiff so I'm off to see my gf for the weekend!

It's nuts in the centre of Bristol, the snow is falling heavily but it's turning into thick slush. My feet are soaking!

It's settling here and people are being sent home from the office, I however have to stay because I love a 5 monute walk from work.

Fed up of the snow now!

Still no snow in Plymouth... Yet there are random cars driving round with inches of snow all over them it was that close... :(

Been watching Sky/BBC News channels and keeping an eye on this. I work at Middlemoor and living in Newton Abbot it's pretty much no go.

Although as i'm looking out my window in Newton there is absolutely nothing, only a few miles away.

Middlemoor itself is one of the worse bits of Exeter (went through earlier), but all the main trouble is around Haldon and Splatford. Are you a Vivista person? If so I need my profile fixed :)

We're SunGard now actually ;) i'm sure if you give one of my lovely colleagues a ring on x22747 i'm sure they'd be happy to help :) I personally am at home, not really wanting to risk it tbh.

What do you do if you don't mind me asking? :) (1, 3, 5, 7 or 9 number?)

Heavy snow here, they forecast rain this morning. Where the hell did the snow come from?

Depends which forecast you read ;) Who was 'they'?

Yesterday the Met Office suggested snow overnight and today, and issued a heavy snow severe weather warning for the West Midlands and pretty much everywhere south of there.
