Anyone know which one is the fastest and most secure?
The best all rounder for speed, security and customisability is probably Firefox.
Do your parents know you're posting on a forum?IE is just pure GAY.
I'd go along with Burnsy although I have been dabbling with the new Opera Beta and have found it surprisingly good.Fastest in my experience is Chrome, most secure is probably IE8 on Vista or Windows 7 using protected mode.
I'd agree that IE8 is easily the most secure, but I'm an Opera user through and through.
I'm leaving the 10.5 pre ALPHA (no, its not a beta, get that thought out of your head) well alone though, too many problems that I've run into.

I use Opera as my main browser but I do agree that Firefox has the edge in more websites work with it and better ad-blocking. I can see why IE8 would be secure considering how closely tied into W7 it must be.I have been using it alongside Firefox. They both have their plus and minuses. Opera is a bit nippier going around day to day browsing though. It does have a few problems though, it doesn't render some web pages properly, specifically BBC home page where by rolling over the bottom headline on their widgets broke them. Also I seriously miss adblock plus, which for me makes firefox the premier browser.
We agree on Chrome but differ on FF and Opera. I try to see what FF can do for me but I always end up back with Opera. Considering Google are behind Chrome and Google are known for their love of advertising I'm sure there are "features" in Chrome that might not be entirely secure.Opera does the things it can do very well. Unfortuantely too many websites I visit a lot don't support it. I hate using two different browsers so I went back to Firefox.
I have used Chrome on and off but I don't find it particularly special.

I always find FF dog slow and hate using it (only use it to see how a page displays when coding or when the website is coded by an idiot that insists on not coding for as many browsers as possible...
I keep forgetting about Iron. I might give that a try. How far behind each Chrome build is Iron? Is it updated fairly regularly? You're right there. Which is why I always feel compelled to shout about Iron at times like these. It's based on the free sourcecode "Chromium" - without the problems of privacy or security.
