Wedding Drinks

All depends. Your guests but at our wedding a few months ago so we went with 2 White 2 red for tables of 10.

If you go with the house wine it's normally ok for most guests.

oh and we had welcome drink and toast drink as well.

IMO that's the bare minimum. But thtas just our friends and family for you !

What usually happens at the weddings we host, is the party will say they want a bottle of red and a bottle of white on the table (or another combination), and they supply it. There is often much more than just one bottle of each per table, and we simply replace the bottles as they are emptied. If we provide the wine, then we do the same thing and just charge for the amount of wine used.

Haha, poitin is deadly stuff. Sounds like a jokes wedding,e

Rural Ireland :). The poitín that comes out of some of thse places shears sheep and churns butter by itself - I had a 1L bottle from my parents' neighbour at my place for well over a year before it ran out. Gorgeous stuff.

At my wedding I seem to recall 2 bottles of red, 3 bottles of rose and 3 bottles of white per table (8-10 per table) with champers for toasting and welcome drinks being separate.

At the end of the night there were a few bottles of red left over but nothing else :P
