There's always going to people who'll find a reason to whinge, the sooner you stop clicking the links, the sooner media will stop acting like their opinions are significant.

I quite enjoyed it, A little too PG, but I find myself saying that with a lot of Tim Burton stuff.

Simply put this is a discussion board and that was quite a lot of news about the show people are discussing and so I thought it might lead to further discussion. Should we not discuss any form of media criticism or praise of a show anymore, is that a new rule I may have missed (I'm not on here everyday) in which case I'm happy to remove the post?

It'd certainly be nice for one thread in the Tv/Film section to go without all this woke crap that we are subjected to every single time.

Anyways, Wednesday was amazing, loved it. Jenna Ortega is going to be quite the star. Loved the cello song too and I'm sure they'll make more seasons of this. Its even beaten Stranger things viewer numbers.

Only just started episode 4 and must say I am hooked. Yes, it has teen drama because it is mainly based around a high school, but for once it is not overplayed or a checklist.

Hope more of the Adams pop up.

One episode to go so not reading the thread. Good series. I do wish it was a little more weird actually. But I feel its lived up to expectations.

Acting has been great!

Shows I think were better on netflix.
Stranger things , arcane and a few others

My little'un (he's 5) absolutely loves Wednesday Addams, so we were looking forward to this series. Really enjoyed it; teen-aimed but doesn't fall into many cliches and dark enough to satisfy most audiences. Her acting was superb.

He didn't have a big part to play though and didn't need much involvement in scenes.

She does in other parts as well.

Finished it and found it very enjoyable. I am not the target audience, but even I found it a very well put together show. It also had enough call backs to appeal to people who enjoyed previous versions, while managing to strike out on it's own. Not surprised it has done so well, Jenna Ortega did an amazing job.

Up to episode 3, really enjoying it so far. I usually find Tim Burton stuff a bit hit or miss personally.

The cello playing, Wednesdays dance, great stuff.
