*** Weekend Football - 14th / 15th ***

Think you guys are being a bit harsh; we've not done much going forward, but at least are looking solid as a defensive unit, even if there is still the odd mistake.

If Greece won the Euros that way there's no reason we can't do the same in the World Cup :D

When on the ball, they're playing it out fairly well, but you're right. Watching more of them, they don't seem to be putting the work in.

Ramsey today was pretty good. A perfect example that Arsenal do have a good squad. We heard all this crap about Spurs at the start of the season but we would you rather came into your first team? The likes of O'Hara, Hutton and Bentley or Ramsey, Wilshere and Vela?

I heard Ramsey played awesome again, he's been very good recently for Arsenal even though he's only given 20 minutes or so at the end of most games, he usually comes on and has an impact. He's improving rapidly and a few things which I thought he was lacking such as first touch and careless passing are improving quickly which suggests he's got a good attitude and will improve further.

To be fair it is hotter than the sun on the pitch; we're not closing much, and if we lose our shape Brazil could put a couple through us, but as long as we keep our ranks fairly close they shouldn't hurt us too much, and with Rooney there's always the chance of nicking something.

Wonder what the odds are on us conceding a goal after "deadly" Wesley gives away a stupid free kick?
 
The first team often get criticised for showing a lack of passion but these players haven't been any better. Given most are playing for a place on the plane and some for a place in the first team I expected far more from them. Upson's been the only player that's stood out for me.

Rooney has been fairly good.

LOL to be fair Italy are still a pretty decent team, id class them higher than England tbh...and they didnt win the World Cup out of nowhere...they got to the final and beat the French although i still didnt like the fact they won it though...but they did not come out of nowhere to win the WC...a team like SA if they won the WC then yes i could say yeh they came out of nowhere to win it.

Anyhow Brazil havent got the best of defences so i wouldnt be surprised if England score a goal to tie it up...in their WC qualifiers they leaked a few goals but they have that mentality...score 6 and we will score 7 thank you very much...one of the reasons why i love and admire the Brazilian football team.
