Nope, Wenger did at the start of the season.
Exactly, I can't believe that WEnger blamed Adebayor for, Gallas and Silvestre for their crapness last game and he went and played him again. Then the fantastic panic formation of "lets put all our strikers on , in any position and errm, thats it".
We've done that several times and its failed every time, he's become a poor manager. A non panicking decent manager will make the right subs and keep with a real formation thats practiced and can work, a idiot one will bring play 7 strikers, 4 upfront, 4 midfield, 2 at the back and no formation, no shape, no build up, no passing, just nothing. Was a joke, Walcott was utter crap again.
Its laughable, Adebayor was hopeless from the first second, again, then he got injured, barely moved and it still took 10 whole minutes before he took him off. This is someone who was bad before and was now barely moving due to injury and he still kept him on? I'll say it again, Wengers lost it.
We played an even more defensive side than usual today and were.... worse defensively, when he'll start to blame Denilson and Song and realise they are woeful I do not know. When we'll give Vela a chance upfront I don't know. When we are massively in need of a win like today after the Spurs game, why RVP didn't start after easily being the best player on the pitch against Spurs and us falling apart without him on, I don't know. Toure looked so far from match fit it was a joke, what we would have done for a fit backup in Senderos today.
Stoke weren't good, we were poor, and arguably both of their goals should have been dissallowed which is all Wenger will stick to, blame the ref, not his players. Don't drop massively underperforming players or try and fix the team.
There must be one player out there not on contract whose even a remotely decent defensive midfielder. Some 36yr old looking for a last season of a few matches, we simply can't get worse than Denilson/Song, in the meantime, Ramsey is much stronger than both, in stonking form at the moment and might just be good enough to keep us ticking over till January.
But does anyone really trust Wenger to buy a defensive midfielder in January, I know I certainly don't.
The worst of it is, Clichy, such a massive performer last year, been here a long time, never complained while stuck behind Cashley in the pecking order, took over so well when he left. Been desparate for a goal and to get one that means so little and he can't celebrate, I felt so bad for him. He's been very clearly wanting to get a goal this season and he just looked upset that we were still going to lose.
