Weekend Football; 23-25th January - *SPOiLERS*

Too many players have not been playing well enough over the last few weeks. Better performance than Monday but still not good enough.

Bring on the replay! :D

We really didn't play well but to be fair, Liverpool didn't really test Howard either. They were good at passing it around but their final product was nothing.

Gonna get my ticket at Goodison booked ASAP! Will be good to beat the s**** at home this year! :p

should be ok, I've seen better draws as a whole but to be honest at the moment i'll take what should be on paper a slightly easier draw.

Was at Stamford Bridge yesterday for Chelsea v Ipswich, we took 6000 down and seemed to make quite a bit more noise than Chelsea... Chelsea fans were pretty much silent most of the match apart from clapping the goals.

Good day out though and Chelsea's class showed with the free kicks... nothing could have been done about those. Both were right out the top drawer. Could have been quite a bit more uncomfortable for them though.

Edit: Hope that's the last we see of Babel. Puts in no effort whatsoever and would sooner run away from a challenge than get stuck in. He'd kill himself if the likes of Souness still played for us and trained with him.

Babel has gone backwards this year. People can argue he doesn't get enough games but you have to prove you deserve more chances when you do get your chance. Babel hasn't done that. I wouldn't be disheartened if he was sold in the summer

meh. My Liverpool season ticket is up for grabs next year. Had enough of this.

When I first started going the game it was £8 a ticket. Now its £40.

A tenner more and I am in cigarette smoking terratory. I want to be entertained. Today was awful. The combined wages on display today was more than most people earn in a lifetime.

*disgruntled of Liverpool*

We were awful again today. We don't seem to be able to break teams down and compete in 1on1s. When Man Utd get the ball they always seem to have an option and pass when a pass is needed or run with the ball and take people on when its needed. Watching us tonight we were the complete opposite, Alonso and Masc just passing the hell of it.

Joaquin on that right wing or Valencia taking on a LB on would make such a difference. I saw an article, forgotten who it was by, but they said Liverpool won't win the league playing 4-2-3-1, after the two game's this week, I’m beginning to agree.

How did we even think we would compete for the title without Torres.

Wouldn't touch Joaquin, even lazier than Babel and has similar stats to Kuyt this season despite playing in a attack minded league. He'd struggle for a few months before being sold back to a Spanish club.

Valencia would be a good singing for £5 million or less but not for the kind of money Wigan would want.

Until recently we've done pretty well without him. Need him to find his shooting boots fast.
