I'll take a draw at Liverpool just to keep scuppering them but that depends what Chelsea turn up.

Defoe has broken a bone in his foot, it gets better and better for Spurs...

Hoping for a good performance today from us and a few goals. Hopefully no Cahill for Everton, and Fabio is apparently fit so I hope he gets a start.

Something like:

VdS
Neville - Ferdinand - Vidic - Fabio
Park - Carrick - Giggs - Ronaldo
Tevez - Berbatov

Although I can imagine Fletcher/Scholes getting a look in.

He started with that midfield in midweek so i'm sure he'll rotate it like you say. Can see Fletcher getting a start

If we lose Southgate is out, must win game today.

Quite looking forward to seeing Alves play upfront with another striker, it might give him a bit more freedom to work some magic and find the back of the net

You think Southgate will walk? Everyone harps on how great a chairman Gibson is, but he has no balls to sack anyone. He needs too though.

Hmm, I don't think he cares what the fans think though. He should have sacked McLaren when just about every fan hated the guy but refused too.

I thought McLaren had a pretty good record at Boro, certainly wasn't attractive football, but they were in a darn site better position than they are now iirc.
