Weekend Football; 31st -1st - *SPOiLERS*

Emmanuel Eboue has a rasping drive down the centre, and almost hits the post (the one holding the corner flag).

1509: Bevin Davies head over for Bolton from Matt Taylor's free-kick. Apparently, the teams at Craven Cottage ran out to the Faithless track Insomnia. No sign of the Zog though.

Women.

Eboue's been winning freekicks with good driving running at the goal, done nothing wrong so far. Nasri's looked far better than the last game and completely unsurprisingly, Diaby's already done a nasty challenge that he's been boked for aswell, to be slightly fair he was slipping maybe but still stuck his other leg out and took out, shockingly, another ankle.

He's gonna break someones ankle like his was done in not to long, and frankly, deserves to get a massive ban for it. He's just a dangerous player to be on the pitch.

EDIT:_ and why no RVP, against a form side when frankly he's one of the only players at Arsenal in real form(offensively speaking, Gallas has been very very good lately), the thing is he's been our creative force aswell as our only real goal threat. Again he just refuses to drop Adebayor and try someone else. Vela/RVP would have been interesting no doubt.

Are you watching the same Eboue? Are you his brother or something? All he's done is dive to get free kicks, instead of passing the balls he blasts it towards one of our players so it's impossible to control.

Just in the last 2 min he's had two "driving" runs and just ran into WH players or given it away.

Now he's on the floor, hopefully he'll never play again!

Well he's not injured for life but Vela's on for him:)

Got to agree. Eboue has been very direct and played ok so far. Just coming off injured though for VEla.

RvP is one booking away from suspension which is probably why he is on the bench.

So you mean, he's the only player whose lost the ball at all on the pitch, so he's crap? ok.

I don't think Adebayor has gotten a single pass right yet, and as for diving for freekicks, every single replay clearly showed they were in no way even close to dives, not in the slightest. People like to hate him and every single time he loses the ball our awful fans pick on him. When Ade loses it, its not a big deal, or RVP, or anyone else. i can't name a footballer, in the history of football, who hasn't given the ball away, can you?

Again, you guys are waiting for his every mistake and pouncing on it ignoring everyone else who does the same things. He might have given it away slightly more, but he's been on the ball more than anyone else, again.

holy crap, we agree :p

But thats my point, he's direct, something we lack and were insanely short of in the last game, we're a better side with him in and he's actually been fine today, shame he's off but Vela has a chance again, though really I want to see what he can do upfront.

I can understand saving RVP, ish, but to be fair Spurs have far worse form and are playing much worse than West Ham lately. I'm fed up of saving big players for the "big" games, just to throw away the points we should have won. LIke playing a weak team against a Sheffield Utd before a big 4 game, only to go and lose both anyway. When not get the 3 points in the bag today with the strongest team possible, then if we lose at Spurs, we've got 3 out of 6, instead of none.

If it was a different team where we had other form players it would also be different rotating a few, but he's our only brilliant player this year, and most of the assists lately have been from him, he's basically been our playmaker in the abscence of Fabregas so resting him seems a poor choice.

We are totally dominating West Ham though. The team have to be able to dominate like this and get a result without him.

How bloody good is Nasri.

Half time and another 0-0 attackers against defenders training match. So frustrating. As it stands in this game Ade is offering nothing and really needs to come off. RvP will get a chunk of the second half I reckon.

I don't think the build up is particularly good, there aren't many quick passes, no one touch passes, no fast movement and penetrative runs/passes. It's all very slow, repetitive and predictable. Not going to score this way.
