I don't know where Park is, he wasn't even on the bench today. He is not being given a chance to play.

Ronaldo... and mark my words he will be gone this summer! He's potentially a world class player but he hasn't progressed as a player since he arrived at Old Trafford. Only one man can fix this and his name isn't Sir Jimmy Saville ;)
i think Park is out with a knee injury so couldnt play but even if he was fine fergie wouldnt pick him over his adopted son.

i think ronaldo might leave this summer..i dont know if thats a good thing because he has the talent and we see the glimpse of it but hes too inconsistent.
with him gone fergie might buy a more consistent right midfielder :) or he might just stick fletcher there:(

gutted , we were poor today , the mancs were there for the taking and even though we were the better team today we really never got going

Couldn't have put it better myself.

We desperately need a decent striker. Any non Liverpool fan who wonders why we think Cisse should be sold have been shown why we think that today. He was woefull

He picked up a pre-match warmup knee injury a couple of weeks back (iirc it was the Man City game). I think he's a phenomenal player and has been shown before can play attacking CMF as well as wide. I just pray he gets more on pitch action but Fergie always seems to pick Giggs or Fletch-love-child over him :(

Ronaldo wise... I'm gutted he hasn't come on at United - he was absolutely electrifying for Portugal in the World Cup in Japan and in Portugal and I really hoped he would be able to bring that to Utd as he matured. I'm beginning to wonder if it's Fergie/Carlos he doesn't get on with and whether a different manager would be needed to get the most out of him.

If you think 9 months back we played him to death when he was still pretty much a kid, and I'm beginning to think it may have irrepairably damaged his Utd career. Yes, we gave him time off when his dad died etc. but I'm beginning to think the network of support wasn't there from everyone at Old Trafford. He has had a tough year, but that can't totally explain his inconsistency and the fact he looks petulant on the pitch and hasn't showed the diehard MU-Red qualities that you see in Heinze, Ole and even Bardsley.

I'd be gutted to see him go, as he has huge potential, and I don't know who we'd get to replace him. He used to be able to light up a qhole match when he played well, but I can't remember the last time that was. There's still no appreciable improvement in his end product and so I can see why him going seems likely.

If he does that leaves us a brilliant option filled midfield of Park and..........???

Good game to watch for a United fan, don't think it'd of been great for a neutral though. Brilliant end. Could see it coming throughout the second half though. Liverpool may have had their chances, but they couldn't convert. We didn't create the same chances, but we had a decent share of the possession, and plenty of pressure, it was a matter of time in the end till we created a decent enough chance to put it away.

after the goal he ran the full length of the pitch to taunt the pool fans

No he didn't, he ran from the halfway line and stopped before he got there. Can't blame him, they'd been singing things about him not too long before..

Gutted doesnt even come close on this one, we were the better side for much of the game, we just tired badly in the last 10 mins imo :(

I think Quieroz is taking the pee in this interview tho http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/liverpool/4637354.stm

We knew that by giving them the apparent control of the game we were able to create more space and counter attack and find the right moments and the right places to damage Liverpool.

I dont know what mancs think of him and AF as a combo, but thats just rubbish he has come out with.

We lost today because are strikers are so poor, plain and simple. You just have to look at our scoring record to see that. If not now then in the summer there needs to be a wholesale clear out if we are to compete with likes of Chelsea next season.

Cissie, Morientes and Crouch are just not consistent enough to provide the wins necessary to take the PL title. I think Rafa should have swallowed his pride in the summer and paid the money for Owen. Who knows though we could get him cheaper in the summer.

carlos quieroz is full of it, I'd safely say that the majority of united fans and even players want him out of the club. He's feeding Fergusons ego as well, and just biding his time because he sees the management position as his when Ferguson goes. There will be riots if this happens.

Liverpool played well to day but cisse was poor all match even sinama was better then him and he came on for the last ten minutes

I don't know about Ronaldo, there's no doubt about his talent, if he could shoot he'd be the top scorer in the league because he's the best dribbler in the world at the moment. People say he's petulant, but 2 red cards (1 for lobbing a keeper after the whistle went and 1 for a tackle that was never a straight-red) isn't bad.

I think we'll keep him atleast for another year, but he has to shine next season. We won't sell him short of £25m I wouldn't think. He'll be a star at the world cup, no doubt.

He will never manage us. No fan I know likes him (and I go to games... thats a lot of people) so it would be suicide to put him in charge.

"We play 90 minutes with only one thing in our mind, to score one goal and not allow Liverpool to score."

Thats CQ on BBC. Thats why he cant manage us. Hes been preaching to players all season that chelsea got a lot of 1-0 wins to try and get a goal and defend it. This i snot acceptable at the club atm.

Well thats the misery for the Newcastle fans to continue then, Souness has had the Thumbs up from Shepherd. :o

which is also why we need to get rid of fat fred as well. there both numptys of the highest calibre.

av never liked shephard, i don't think he sees newcastle football club as anything but a cash cow for him to milk and then ultimatly destroy. newcastle is all about the passion, when we have players and managers that are passionate about the club we do really well and are top 4 side no questions asked.

Better than Chelsea, Arsenal, 'Pool and manyoo?

Really?

Hmmm.
deff not better then chelsea but the other 3 yes lol.

just look at past years, newcastle are like the tim henman at wimbledon. Never won the title but always puts in a dam good effort and reaches the higher end stages.

couple of injuries to key players like we have and pool and arsenal and manyoo are crippled like we have been, especially with arsenal and man u's inconsistent form to the league and pools start to the season.
