Weekend football *Spoilers!*

Not brilliantly, as you'd expect with our depleted numbers (Cesc is playing on the right too, which really isn't a good position for him), but not bad either. Diaby's playing a blinder from what the radio is saying - lots of storming runs and crunching tackles, just what we need. Adebayor's not doing badly either, he's definitely trying.

We're sounding pretty solid actually, which is nice. :)

Villa are thrashing Boro 4-0. Considering how bad Villa are, I'd imagine that's more embarassing to McClaren than getting beaten 7-0 by us. :p

EDIT: Number 200 for Thierry. \o/

1622: GOAL Middlesbrough 0-4 Aston Villa
Luke Moore completes a brilliant hat-trick, taking Steven Davis' well-timed through ball and exquisitely chipping the ball over the advancing Mark Schwarzer.

Moments later, a Boro fan throws their season ticket onto the pitch in disgust at Boro's poor performance.

damnit Schwarzer is playing and hes in my dream team

Certainly sounds like I do. :D

Pennant and Upson just had an excellent chance to score between them, and they hit the post. What a shame. :p

He's so like Paddy. The way he's turns, the way he runs, even makes the same mistakes!

That's exactly what I said about him on Wednesday, virtually word for word, great minds think alike. ;)

Well done Tel as well. :)

So we've got the new Vieira AND the new Kanu in the team. How long before we sign the new Grimandi? :p

Bolton 1-1 Wigan. We'll go back into 5th if things stay like this.

EDIT: Heskey red carded and refusing to leave the pitch!

newcastle 2-0 surely a win as well.

hows that song go?

THINGS CAN ONLY GET BETTER.................................

Full time.

Excellent performance, considering we were away from home and with a seriously under-strength team. Can't wait to see how Diaby and Fabregas perform if given the center of midfield together, could be ace. RM really doesn't suit Cesc, he always seems lost there. Adebayor played like this was his 100th game with us, not his 1st. :)

Oh, and come on Cameroon. ;)

Arsenal were pretty average today. Birmingham should have casued them more problems with their size up front. Reyes was his usual cheating self. Went down shaking his hand/wrist then started feeling his left foot. Trainer came on and treated his right ankle. Go figure!

DJ Campbell was lively when he came on. Full of nice little tricks and was unlucky when he played a through ball to Forsell. Lino gave it offside when it wasn't.

Heskey could be in trouble. He got into Mike Rileys face when he was sent off and refused to leave the field. He then confronted the 4th official whilst Bruce tried to pull him away. Silly boy!
