The start of the Premiership is upon us :)

Can Manchester United regain their title ?
Can Liverpool win the league after a close finish last season ?
Can Chelsea snatch the title from Manchester United ?
Can the Arsenal "kids" win anything ?

Can Moneybags City crack the top 6 ?
Can Everton & Aston Villa regain their places in the top 6 ?
Can Spurs sneak in to the top 6 ?

Who will be going down ?
Who will be the first manager to lose their job ?
Who's going to be a flop ?
Which new stars are going to be discovered ?

Stars Saturday.

Oh thank god it's back.

EPL, how I have missed thee. :D

[Edit] Just to clarify, I don't actually mind who wins, as long as it's not Liverpool. We could end up losing all thirty-eight games and getting relegated, but I don't mind, as long as they don't win the title.

Because, if they do, we're going to hear nothing else. For the next twenty ear-splitting years. God help us if it happens.

I think the big question tonight, before all the big games commence.

Is.........

Would Tummy spontaneously combust if someone else started a ***this weeks games thread***?

Can't wait! First match at Oakwell this season, should be a decent game although Coventry always seem to beat us :x

Looking forward to all the EPL action too :)

Yaaaaaay. And double yay to the Arsenal game being a late kick-off. Will get to see it after work.

I've been jonesing for my football fix so much this summer I had to resort to cricket and cycling. I was one step away from Rugby League. I feel so dirty.

PS. If Arsenal win on Saturday I will officially knee-jerk the title to us. Equally, if we lose we're going straight down.

United wont do 4 on the trot, they have not improved the squad enough.

On the other hand, none of the other sides have brought in anywhere near enough quality themselves to improve their teams, so united will win 4 on the trot.

I can't see Man Utd winning 4th title in a row to be honest... I think there chances are with Rooney honestly, If he really steps up and scores like Ronaldo did that year then they probably will win it.

For some reason earlier I tipped Liverpool to win, what was I thinking. Maybe its a 33/33/33 Liverpool Chelsea Man Utd...

Still think Man City are going to through a spanner in the works, despite what people think about them, I hope someone does shake the top4 up this season though, Arsenal are clearly hanging on by a thread

thank god for the lack of setanta, i couldn't put up with that shoddy coverage any longer, over to espn it seems.

Bring on the new season boys! oh how ive missed the football, a grand priz every 2-3 weeks has barely covered the loss.

Just saw yesterday that Virgin customers on 'L' only get ESPN for the month of August. For crying out loud...

Personally, I'd love to see Arsenal give it a shot this season but I think that the title will probably end up in Chelsea's hands. Manchester City will be ones to watch.

can't decide if to get up early to watch or not. Wrong time for Chelsea and arsenal games and none of the 3pm starts look that good. Somehow don't think i will find the Vale game on anywhere.

I don't know anymore. I'm not even sure what package we get in this house after all the faffing about that went on. I thought we were on L, but we were getting Setanta for a while so we might now be on XL.

Edit:

I've just checked the channel list and we've been getting Comedy Central since the faffing about a few months back so we must be on XL.

All I want is to be able to watch the footy! :p

I just absolutely hate all this elitist channel hopping bull because for years I've missed out on being able to watch important games.

Well, I don't see the problem - Setanta was one of the channels included in XL, the package people pay more for. And now they have done the same with ESPN. Shock: People pay more money for more channels! :o
