Until a few months ago I would've been facing not being able to watch the footy... again. Not everyone has luck thrown at them from all corners you know. I'm annoyed because the faffing around always craps on people if they can't affort to shell out the cash. The XL package isn't exactly amazingly cheap either. For once in my life I might not have a problem personally, but I'm sick to death of the channel hopping and inability to watch games because someone wants to make a little more money - it's driving away fans. For years I wasn't able to support my club simply because I could never watch their damn games. That's the problem.
 
I'm intrigued to see what the ESPN coverage is like. I have to go round my mates house to watch the games on that though so I won't be moaning about the coverage if its bad considering I dont pay for it :D
 
Is it naive of me to think a 'OcUK Watching Football Day Event' could be organised? :o Everyone meeting up somewhere, ie a house with a large TV or a local pub? Admittedly laptops would be needed to continue posting updates for others...
