Bad Ref.

You know for a fact that if Vidic had put a challenge in like that on that tart Torres it would be a booking and a pen "for intent".

Good lord, not the old "the ref is against us" chestnut again. Refs always against, but never for eh.

Sorry, but Peg has got it right, its not a question of bias its just that this ref has never refereed a top 4 clash before and its showing. Can see him losing control of the match in the second half if he isnt careful.

Gotta say that I've been impressed with Lucas so far; I think that Rafa's playing him slightly further forward, and he's looking a lot more assured.

Got to say O**** has been gash. Carrick Gash, Valencia has been **** scared of taking on Insua.

Fergie sort this out for the love of Jesus, Mary & the Orphans

haha! I was laughing so hard about how much David "Kerb crawler" failed. I think someone had a quiet word in his ear, as he is now pronouncing it correctly.
He must've thought half way through the half who's this Benayoun my colleague keeps talking about? Ah the little Israeli chap :o

Lucas up to 4 fouls no card yet. That last minute there was tonnes of little fouls that the ref just let go.

At least 2 of those 'fouls' he clearly got the ball. Berbatov's yellow was harsh but Evra's was warranted for that challenge alone.

As for the game; Utd have probably played the better football without creating much and we've had most of the real chances.

This sort of things happen away from home Manchester United. Jesus wept.

You sort of have a point - but it shouldn't be the case. I like good, competent refereeing whether at Old Trafford, Anfield, or any other ground.

This ref just isn't making the right decisions.

Agree. Very worried we didn't score in that half because we've played like that a few times this season and it's gone wrong/nearly gone wrong in the second half.

The ref hasn't shown any bias, he is just useless, the bad decisions have gone both ways

Spot on, he's looking out of his depth.

Manchester United have looked the better with the ball, but Liverpool have created more chances.

Was Lucas booked?

Anyone else think "Liverpool have dominated, the only thing they haven't done is score" is a bit, er, strong :o

I think Lucas has looked very impressive today, he's been composed on the ball and as mentioned earlier seems to be playing further up the pitch. Be interesting to see if United make any changes in the centre of the pitch as I think that is where they have been lacking.
