Clever yes, but very unsporting - and doesn't work unless you get lucky with a ref who buys it. Which is what you got yesterday.

I'm guessing you missed Motd2 last night. They done a piece on Vidic and Torres and clearly showed Vidic cynically taking Torres out on no fewer than 3 occasions.

I admitted earlier in the thread that on a few occasions Torres went down too easily looking for free-kicks but the 3 highlighted on Motd2 were nothing of the sort and could have each ended up with Vidic being booked.

I am sure you'll be able to find a clip online somewhere of the Motd2 analysis.

Vidic was skinned badly last year. Yesterday he did very well, as i've said above the officiating was enough to decide the outcome of the match.

I think you'll find that's nearly as wrong as saying Kuyt turned into Vidic, when Vidic (like Carra on Owen) rugby tackled Kuyt.

Reina didn't appeal because despite Vidic taking him out, he still managed to get the ball out to Torres and start an attack for us.

Regarding Vidic's performance in general; he certainly wasn't as bad as he was at OT last season but he looked nervous all afternoon. A couple of times early on he messed either his control or clearance up when being pressured by Torres, Kuyt etc and like above, he was worried about us running in behind so resorted to taking them out.

edit: Just seen on SSN that the Blackburn squad is infected with Swine Flu and according to Fat Sam, it's possible that they may have passed it on to Chelsea :p

Actually I only use it when the poster doesnt listen to anyone elses opinion other than their own. :rolleyes:

I thought you would be able to understand that if i used pictures instead of words. Obviously not ;)

What did cheer me up was when all the ManU fans came with beach balls thinking they were funny (if a little predictable) only to end up with sand on their faces and go home losers. That made me smile :D
